Ruth's Chris Steak House

Our server Zoe was incredible! He was there with a smile for anything we’ve ever needed. Refills, plate pickup, etc he was always timely. He was also personal and had some great conversations and discussions with my family and I. He has great energy and amazing spirits that can be paired greatly with amazing food. I’d recommend requesting him on your next visit.

My experience tonight at Ruth Chris was nothing short of amazing, Zoe, our server was exceptional. Very personable, respectful and detail-oriented. He made sure that my dining experience was above average, and went the extra mile to ensure that my needs were being taken care of. Zoe, is a gem to Ruth Chris! He deserve all of his flowers!

We love Ruth's, so if there is any chance to visit, we will. This night was actually for my birthday. We were visiting DC and decided to celebrate. We made a reservation and notified them it was for my birthday. When we got there, the traditional "birthday" table set up wasn't there. After we ordered food, our waiter came over and asked if we were celebrating anything, we mentioned it was my birthday. He let us know they'd have a dessert for us. Once we finished eating, he brought over the bill and had no dessert. We ended up asking for it to go. Again, we love Ruth's. The food is always so delicious. However, for the price you pay and considering the occasion, the details count. You're truly paying for the entire experience. Hopefully, this was a one-off kinda night.

This was one of the best Thanksgiving meals I’ve had in some time. Turkey can be tricky—can get dry. This turkey was delicious. All of the sides were great. What made my meal even better was the service. Yates did not rush me and made me feel like I was his only table. Just really enjoyed this meal.

On a recent girls’ night out to the Lincoln Theater, we had dinner beforehand at Ruth’s Chris. Our timing was perfect as we were able to park right in front of the door and get seated without a reservation. This was around 4:30 pm on a Saturday. We were greeted with a smile and led to our table. We skipped appetizers and dug right in. I ordered the lamb chops topped with a crab cake, asparagus and béarnaise sauce. My friend had the filet topped with shrimp and a side of Brussels sprouts. I skipped the tempting desserts, while she had the cheesecake. The lamb chops were so flavorful, especially as I married each bite with a little of the crab cake and sauce. I had the chops cooked medium well, but will probably opt for medium next time. They were still delish. Considering we were heading to a show, we kept our meals small to avoid to-go boxes. I definitely wanted to savor the lobster Mac and Cheese or the au gratin potatoes— but there will be a next time. By far the best food I have ever had in my entire life. Jasmine, an absolute angel of a server, convinced me to send the steak back after it was slightly over cooked. She returned with a perfect medium rare steak that literally brought tears to my eyes. The garlic mashed potatoes were phenomenal, better than my grandmother’s. Overall, the best restaurant experience anyone could ever have. No matter the price, this place is worth it. You will not have a better steak anywhere else!

As a former elected official I am always expecting good service. Tonight your server, Zoe was one of the best servers I’ve experienced at a restaurant. I travel often around the world and I always visit Ruth’s Chris. The service i received tonight was exceptional. From the moment we sat down to the time we left, Zoe was on point. We never wanted for anything. He even anticipated (correctly) that I would rather have honey with my tea opposed to sugar. He explained the menu and was knowledgeable about each selection and how it was prepared. My guest ordered a bottle of wine and he ultimately found out they did not have it. So he came back with another selection which my guest thought was perfect. He was personable, pleasant and professional. He represented the Ruth’s Chris brand very well.
