Hot N Juicy Crawfish

Walk by this place in the way to the zoo and thought the food looked good. Read some negative reviews and was sceptical for a bit. Thankfully we decided to give this a try. This is the best seafood boil in a bag that we've had, and we've tried many - from restaurants in Singapore and LA to night market stalls in Bangkok. We got "The Drool" (Shrimp, Crawfish, Sausages, Snow Crab) with the signature Hot and Juicy sauce at medium heat. The shrimps were our favourite, juicy and freshly sweet. The crawfishes were prepared well and do not taste overly briny. The spice carries insidious heat, and quite a kick when it hits you. Medium heat brought us to tears, but we love it. Would definitely be back here again if we are ever back in DC. Spacious interior and seats were readily available when we visited.

I was passing by and saw people eating in here I was attracted to the smell of the seafood, so I decided to dine in. I was served by a server named Julio; I asked for recommendation since I am on a pescetarian diet. He recommended me to try crawfish and suggested to add brocolli for extra protein. So I ordered it and man it was worth every dollor! The seasoning stands out the most and the freshness of the crawfish! 10/10 would highly recommend to seafood lovers!

I went here for the first time and I was more than satiesfied with my visit. The server named Julio was very knowledgeable about the entire menu and recommended me popular seafood picks! The food was really good and what stands out the most is the taste of the seasoning, it is very flavourful and not too salty compare to hooknreels (super salty seasonings and too much butter). Over all, I would definitely comeback and bring my friends here.

After visiting the #ElectrifyExpoDC, we opted for some Louisiana-inspired dinner here. The wait wasn't long; about 20 minutes to be seated dyue to understaffing. Our food was excellent! Seasoned well and packed with flavor. NONE OF THE SEAFOOD WAS OVERCOOKED! Cooked to perfection! We had boil bags, fried shrimp baskets, fried catfish baskets, and mozzarella cheese sticks. The kids loved it, too! Keep in mind, we were a party of seven eating. Despite the service being a tad bit slow, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Also, I really wanted the fried veggies and never received them; but everything else was good 👍🏽! It's a small space with a very nice and polite staff. Even when short-staffed and pulled in multiple directions. . .everyone was friendly and accommodating. We will be back! Thanks for making my visiting family from Texas last meal in DC memorable and delicious!

If you visit DC and like Crawfish and Shrimp you have to visit this place! We were seated immediately and provided a written menu eventhough they have contactless menu option. We did not have to wait more than a minute before our waitress to take our drink order. Our order was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering and it was worth every minute of the wait! 1lb of Steamed Shrimp with drawn butter and the Get Your Feet Wet menu selection. For $40 you get 1lb of fresh crawfish, 1lb of shrimp, 2 potatoes, 2 corn nibblets, and 1dz sizable pieces of andouille sausage. I chose to have my Get Your Feet Wet prepared in Medium in Hot & Juicy Sauce and it was a great choice! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal! It was more than enough for us in one sitting and we had to take some home. You are provided with a bibb and plastic gloves to protect your hands and close from all the juices you'll be slinging while eating. While I did not partake, there is a well stocked bar and ample beer selection. Professional and courteous staff rounded out this overall great eating experience. Again, a MUST visit location when in DC.

My most memorable restaurant in DC. If you want to have a feel of sea food, this is the place to be. The staff are friendly. For the three times have been here, I have never reserved ahead. The place can be filled up, so reserve ahead. The price is on point, and I like the fact that you can get your hands dirty! Will recommend this place to any one in DC that love sea food
