Sonoma Restaurant + Wine Bar

Although it had been years since I last visited, I joined some friends here for dinner the weekend after Thanksgiving and had a lovely time. We got the rose and red wine flights and had fun trying each of the very distinct offerings. The food is delicious - we shared the gnocchi, pan seared salmon, and chicken piccata panini. Highly recommend stopping by! There is also private event space available on their second floor.

One of the greatest dining experiences I've ever had. the atmosphere, service, food, and drink selection is impeccable. I dinned over the weekend, and told them I was vegan, and they went above and beyond to fit my dietary restrictions. They custom made me my own pesto, and adjusted 2 menu items to accommodate. The pizza they made - was probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life. the crust was so fresh, as well as the tomatoes and greens that were on top. it had the snap of toasted crust but a soft bready inside - with the most intense fire roasted brick oven flavor. absolutely incredible 11 out of 10. the restaurant itself is super open and clean, and has a warm vibe to it. if ur in DC - this is a must stop.

Sonoma has become my go-to destination for great company, great wine, and dishes that hit the spot. There's a great variety of both wine and food, so you can come here and try something new with every visit. The diversity is key. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable and have quickly become friends. Come to Sonoma for the wine, stay for the company! Can't recommend this place enough.
