New Heights Restaurant

This restaurant is truly exceptional. The food is beyond amazing, and their cocktails are simply delicious. I couldn't get enough of the Mussels Frites – they were outstanding. The freshness of their Oysters was equally impressive. The cocktails were a delightful surprise, each sip a burst of flavor that added to the overall experience. Moreover, the team here sets a new standard in professionalism and friendliness. Their expertise and warm demeanor made the entire dining experience even more delightful. It's an absolute gem of a place, truly lovely in every aspect.

Great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service and peaceful cozy atmosphere. We started with a shot of Ukrainian vodka with black pepper and pickles. Borscht soup was very good. Then we had fried mushrooms, and they were excellent. Pork belly buns and Brazilian steak were also very good. Ceviche was simple and very refreshing. We really enjoyed our meal here and I would certainly recommend! Our server Michael was very friendly and we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. All around great experience! Thank you.

Excellent neighborhood restaurant featuring a diverse, solid menu of food and cocktails, strong service, and fine decor. We started with the Crispy Fried Oysters (Seasoned Panko, Tartar Sauce, Pickled Cauliflower) and they were excellent, brimming with flavor. Next up were the Pork Belly Buns (Blood Orange Hoisin, Pickled Onion Watermelon Radish) which were also very good, very creative flavor accents. For our mains, we first had the Filet Medallions (6 oz Tenderloin Filet Mignon Medallions Chimichurri, Béarnaise, Oyster Mushroom, Potato Croquette) and they were just ok. The meat quality was just average and the croquette was forgettable. The mushrooms were nice. If it wasn't for the extra bearnaise, we wouldn't have finished the filet. Next was the Creamy Creole Shrimp Fettuccini (Garlic, Onion, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Parmesan cheese) and this was a nice turnaround from the medallions, very solid. Nice amount of heat and spice, and the creamy sauce was decadent. The dessert menu had a bunch of mundane choices in general so we zoomed in on the unique items, the Pistacchio Ricotta Cake & the Honey Chocolate Cream Cake. The former was very good but the latter was superb, one of the best cakes I've had. For cocktails, we tried the following: Purple Rain (Botanist Gin | Lavender Syrup | Club Soda) - like a lighter twist on an Aviation, crisp and refreshing. Toasted Marshmallow Old Fashion (Four Roses Bourbon | Bitters | Marshmallow Syrup) - one of the best spins on an Old Fashioned I've tried. Bold flavor but balanced, and anchored well with the bourbon. Service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Highly recommended.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the owner herself and felt at home. The food was incredibly delicious but the drinks were something else! My husband and I can’t wait to come back with friends and family visiting from out of town to show them New Heights. *update* Came back to New Heights with my parents and they LOVED it, as I knew they would! Such a lovely restaurant with amazing people, and outstanding food & cocktails. Kateryna and Olena are fantastic and definitely made our experience much more memorable.

The staff were super lovely, we were very attended by kateryna, and Olena who made us feel at home. Wonderful atmosphere impeccable food! The food and drinks came out quickly and perfectly prepared.we had Crispy Fried Oysters and Tomato Burrata Salad, Filet Steak. Finished with chocolate cake and my God please get the Pistachio Ricotta which was probably the best thing. We will definitely be back.

New Heights has been on my must do list and was a hit. From the cocktail, which was the Smoke on the Water with a substitute of grapefruit gin - absolute delish to the beautifully shucked oysters. Shucking oysters is an absolute art. I had the Alfredo pasta sans shrimp. All of the food was top-notch. The service was as expected, and the ambiance, perf. I'm always on the lookout for well-done restaurant art, and New Heights was featuring Ukrainan art that was all just wonderful. I will be back.

A gem!! Dinner was outstanding here! The cheese fondue was yummy! Ambiance was so lovely, we were able to talk and not scream across the table. We ordered the rack of lamb, the shrimp fettuccine which was really really good. The mussels were ok. The pistachio ricotta is out of this world, we wish we ordered more!!

New Heights Restaurant in Washington DC is a place that should not be missed! The food was incredible - I highly recommend ordering the fresh oysters, lamb chops, halibut, and Branzino. Not only does it taste amazing, but the presentation of every dish was also outstanding. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service throughout our experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Definitely recommend! Such an atmospheric place in a nice lively area close to Metro! The food is great, I had Borscht and then the Chef special Beef Pot Roast&Mashed Potato. Everything was amazing! Honestly, I don’t think I have ever eaten such delicious beef! 😋 It’s my new favorite restaurant in DC! Will definitely come back soon with friends and family! BTW, it’s a perfect place for private events as they have a huge space on the second floor.

Phenomenal experience at New Heights. This place is a a true gem. The crab cakes tasted better than ones we had on the Chesapeake Bay. The food was great, but the drinks were even better! Cocktails had unique flavor profiles - definitely go for happy hour, the prices are great. Gunchin and Katya went above and beyond. We will be back.
