***Review for Mokinbird. Chicken wings were delicious and fries were amazing. They did not have full menu up but cant wait to try their other offerings. I will definitely be back Great spot some Japanese comfort food. Food is fresh and delicious and staff is very friendly. Place is always clean and well lit. Only takeout now during COVID. My favorites are the Karaagedon, kastudon curry and the newer offering Butadon. The salmon sashimi is very good too and always fresh and delicious. I really appreciate how they serve the food to go with these special containers that keep items separate, so items are still fresh and not mixed and soggy, for when you eat it later. I highly recommend.

First time going to this Japanese restaurant for take out during lunch. I got the Gyudon which is beef over rice. It also had soft cooked eggs in the middle with togarashi spice on top. Bit pricey, but I can understand as the ingredients looked fresh. Great flavors, cute takeout bowl, and overall great service. Will definitely be coming in again if my work takes me near here again!

This place is a small gem in the neighborhood. I stopped by here to have a quick bite before heading to the zoo. The ordering in front of entrance was very efficient, and food was served super quick. The quality and taste of food was so great, I ended up eating so fast! People here are very friendly and professional. They certainly used the small space very smart way to create a place that serves simple but great menu quick for busy people. I love this place and I wish this place was closer to my home. Next time I visit DC, I am returning here for sure.
