The Georgetown Starbucks is always crowded with tourist, but I managed to sneak in during a quiet time. I was greeted pretty promptly and was assured that my drink was on it's way. Definitely some of the better service I've gotten at any Starbucks location.

Yo so the barista was super nice and overheard that i wanted a hot drink and aksed me if i wanted the cloud macchiato hot instead of cold so thank you i didnt even know it was an option. Your coffee saved my day

Have worked in the area for 4 years now and can say that while the staff had some serious issues when I first started going, with regards to being accommodating, friendly and swift, I'd imagine the clientele didn't always lend to that sort of motivation for them either. In the last 6 months though, there's been an obvious transformation with staff and I no longer hesitate whether or not to go in and grab my blonde roast because I'm being a bother. This location has definitely come a long way, in the right direction. Hey, customer service is in the eye of the beholder.

I usually don't review starbucks. This place is in good location, has two floors, upstairs is very quiet and peaceful , good street view from 2nd floor. Has restrooms(which was not crowded when we went). Latte didn't taste bad (some starbucks it tastes bad).

Double-decker Starbucks in the heart of Georgetown. Pretty spacious workroom with plenty of additional seating upstairs. Gets crowded easily and fast. Limited street parking and free wifi

Great study space upstairs with nice view of M Street. And even when it's way too busy downstairs and the line is 12 people long (which is pretty common), upstairs is peaceful and only half full.

Always stepping in to Starbucks whenever I can, as we don't have a Starbucks in my country. Still never disappointed in any one of them - this one in Georgetown no exception. Friendly and fast. And espresso to die for, not to mention the Blueberry Muffin....

What sets this Starbucks apart is not the food or drinks (same as any Starbucks) or the service (poor) but the ample seating space upstairs. If there's no seating space in Lauinger come exam time, your odds of finding a seat here for the afternoon for the low low price of one bagel with butter are actually pretty good.
