Pedro And Vinny's Burrito Cart

Easily the best lunch deal in DC ($5-$8 .. Big burrito!), not to mention best burrito I've ever had... ever! Tasty, fresh ingredients plus delicious homemade hot sauces!?! I personally love 'the goose' aka peach mango habanero. If you are nearby on a weekday, check it out. The service is wonderful as well! Spread the word!

I can't go within a mile of this burrito cart without getting myself a medium black-and-tan with cheese and guac and fresh salsa and #4-level hot sauce (non-fruity) and cilantro. These burritos are so ridiculously good, and John is so friendly and funny and always says the burrito he just made you is such an amazingly special one "you should just take the rest of the day off." And the prices haven't gone up in forever. But seriously, in a burrito-challenged town, this place is heaven.

When a street food cart makes it on google maps, then it must be good. This isn't your typical street vendor, this is more like a DC landmark. The burritos are freshly made, you can pick your own hot sauce or choose from the spicy scale 1-10, there are many sauces to choose from, but the house made 'goose' sauce is the signature sauce. I come here every so often during the workweek for lunch, but I also go to the Arlington location (which offers meat) on the weekends. This cart has been around for many many years, and there is a reason. The quality of the food is top-notch and at a great value.
