This location is bigger than the Takoma one. It is located in the heart of the Hyattsville Art District. Easy to park around the area. The food and service is great.

Everything was amazing. The service and the food good. The catfish was fried perfectly. The greens didn’t have a lot of flavor but the dish was a good combo with grits. This was a great vibe for listening to music, enjoying drinks, and eating.

I ordered the blackened salmon, wild rice, and asparagus. The salmon was pretty good. It definitely had a little kick to it, but the white sauce that they give you to put over the salmon, is what really amazed me. The sauce was creamy, savory, and very well seasoned. I am so happy that I ordered the blackened salmon without making any substitutions for the sides. I definitely will be purchasing this meal again, $26.50 well spent with NO regrets!!

No problem for a party of 7 with no reservations. Happy, enjoyable staff, great attentive service. The food was AMAZING! Sweet potato pancakes Rock!!! Dinner was so delicious we went back for breakfast. Fresh, high quality food and drinks at a great price!

1st time at this location. It was what I expected from B&P.. Loved the atmosphere, the incredible art, service was top notch and prompt. So glad to see this in the bustling and historic Anacostia. When I visit my 2nd home again that is DC, I will definitely have to revisit this location.

Had a party of 11. I was the first to arrive and service from start to finish was great.
Our server was quick and apparently took good notes as every order was correct.
I loved the selection of art as well as their diverse and inclusive book selection.
I didn't want any alcohol and their selection of mocktails was delicious. Definitely a plus if you just want to enjoy a non boozy day.
I'll be back.

Stopped here for a late dinner and ordered the Brussels sprouts, fried Brussels sprouts and the shrimp and grits. Everything was exceptional! The shrimp and grits were like none I've ever had before and I highly recommend! Our server Sandy was wonderful. The vibe here was laid back and I appreciated the options at the bookstore.

I really enjoyed my experience at Busboys and Poets, the environment is very well maintained and spacious. I love how they have art posted & a book area. The staff are very attentive and helpful, not to mention the food is delicious. I like it. Definitely gonna return

This was my first time at this location. I was too hype about getting a JFK (drink). I was told I could not get one. That was disappointing since I was visiting and do not live in the area. The service was slow, we had to ask for help but overall the food was very good and the music was a vibe. The restaurant was clean and the young lady who helped us was nice. They did try to improvise after I asked for a spiked coffee, it was good. They have a very good selection of books. There is paid parking on the side of the building.
