Wow, best ice cream in North DC. Recommend the pistachio and honey graham. Blown away by the all natural flavors and ingredients. Take a sec and check out the cool trinkets in the store…e.g. Golden Girl Mints.

We ordered some lattes here in the morning and they were great. This shop has a lot to offer with specialty baked goods along with snacks and small food related gifts. I'd recommend this as a stop if you're in the neighborhood.

I take 2 trains and walk 16 minutes to treat myself to Lula’s. DC is seriously lacking good ice cream on the small business front. Dave is so great!
This shop is neighbors with the best ramen in DC :)

Staff are so welcoming and definitely take their craft seriously. It's always nice to watch the workers make the drink in front of you. But something about here is just special. They make you feel special even if it is for a brief moment. That's something I love about small establishments. Not many achieve that goal of making sure the customer is seen.

Only went here once, but great place! The staff is super friendly and made recommendations. I got the graham cracker ice cream and it was excellent! They even have sprinkles! I would come here again if I'm in this area.

(September 17, 2022) Ok my friend wanted me to go in here because he wanted some ice cream. I’m so glad we did. I love the decorated store. It’s sooo pretty & the ice cream is so fresh. I believe it’s homemade. Anyway it’s good. The sugar cone & the donut. It was very good. I would definitely go back. If in the area check it out. I think you’ll like it.

I had the single scoop of coffee Oreo and pistachio with the combo colorful sprinkles. It was very tasty. I would say a regular sized compostable spoon would be nicer than a wooden sample spoon.

A fun place for grownups and kids. A quaint Petworth fixture with tons of sweets (and few savory) choices. The ice cream is Taharka, which is local and good. There are donuts, cupcakes and good hot and ice coffee (which reminds me of Qualia's...yum) to go with it...and a ton more. They often have granola, which they bake there... that is also one of my faves. This place can do no wrong!

Staff is notably nice and friendly. The Honey Graham ice cream is going to make you lose your mind (if you like graham cracker crust)! The Jasmine Blueberry ice cream is very good. There are other options such as coffee, tea, snacks, and fun merchandise to pick up. It is a nice place to stop for a 'pick-me-up' and a sweet topping to a good day (or a rescue from a difficult day). If you are in the neighborhood, make a stop before you head to your destination, it's worth it!
