One of the most conveniently located airports I’ve been to in the world! It’s very centrally located and it’s so quick and easy to get here via metro or car. It has the shortest distance from metro platform to airport security of any airport I’ve ever been to in dozens of countries around the world. And then from security to the gate is also very quick. The new Concourse E is really nice. The views out the plane windows when taking off or landing are great, especially if you’re facing DC and the National Mall. Note that Concourse A is a different story altogether, and is not nearly as good the others. But I never go there.

Ronald Reagan Airport DCA is the best airport in the DC area despite TSA doing their best to ruin it! The restaurants are actually pretty good here! Before TSA you used to be able to come here, walk around,shop and have a great dinner! Now you need a plane ticket to do that! It is a beautiful airport though! They just violate your 14th amendment in its operation though. Little details, right! Legal seafood is the stand out restaurant though. It’s not perfect because of their operational constraints by TSA. But they still manage to do a great job! As for parking, don’t let them tell you the lot is full if you have a plane ticket! They usually still have spaces just limited! Also, pay your parking before you get to your car! You can also reserve a parking spot before you go online! Have fun and safe travels! This airport exceeded our expectations. It's impeccably clean, well-organized, and offers convenient water stations. Our first visit was met with swift queues, and the airport's aesthetics and decor added to the positive experience. The architecture is impressive, and the array of food options and gift shops are fantastic. While check-ins and immigration might require some time, arriving at least 2 hours before the flight is advised, considering it's the capital. Being early is a bonus with plenty of activities to enjoy at the airport. We would definitely choose this airport again.

The train from DC (McPherson sqaure) took less than 40 minutes to the airport. The train wasn't as often ( every 15 minutes). If you are flying Alaska, and taking the metro, it makes more sense to walk towards terminal 1 (south). The walk from one end to the other end of terminal 2 is about 10 minutes or so..You will pass by a chick fil a. The precheck line was quick and the website has an estimated wait time for tsa. There is a good variety of food at the airport. Most of the terminals could use more outlets. There were only outlets on food tables and not gate chairs. It is one of the better small airports.

Ronald Reagan Washington Airport is very large. Filled with a lot of movement everywhere. It is filled with people moving here and there with the bustling of all types of luggages/ bags. People hustling to get to their gates to catch their planes to reach their destination. All types of eateries everywhere. When you come to this airport bring ur patience with you because you will need it.

The Metro station is conveniently located on-site, and there's ample parking for those who prefer to drive. However, I couldn't give it a perfect five stars for a couple of reasons. The terminal can get quite crowded during peak travel times, and the limited international flight options may require some travelers to use other nearby airports for their international travel needs. In conclusion, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is a fantastic choice for domestic travel, offering a great travel experience with its convenient location and various amenities. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting or departing from the Washington, D.C. area.
