Angelico Pizza U Street

I never leave reviews and haven’t ever considered leaving a bad review until my family ate here. Wife ordered a cheese steak sub and they gave us a chicken sub and it had bones in it. Daughter ordered waffle fries and she received regular fries, she wouldn’t eat those or the mozzarella sticks because they both tasted completely terrible. I got the spaghetti and the sauce was watered down and had little flavor, however the meatballs in the spaghetti were ok. The bread that comes with the spaghetti is not actual bread and is nasty. Never again, I don’t know how they are in business still.

Ordered on Eatstreet, waited 45 min past delivery time and called because they don't offer live updates, guy who answers phone said they don't have an eatstreet driver so my order isn't being made or delivered. Eatstreet won't give me my money back because Jumbos said they made it. I've been robbed.

I don't usually write bad reviews because I know they can really hurt workers but y'all, my husband and I went there last night like half an hour after they opened and right away the place smelled like there was a gas leak. Would have been alright except the only guy working was also smoking a cigarette while he was cooking and as we were waiting, we flicked a baby cockroach off the table. I'm a pushover so I probably would have still given it 2 stars if my mozzarella sticks were actually hot upon arrival but they weren't (husband said the pizza was inedible too--it was watery for some reason?) Hit Pizza Mart in Adams Morgan instead, waaaay better!
