Waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Food is standard Applebee's taste. I do feel that this location needs a total remodel/update. The ambiance is tired, used and old feeling. Not the normal fun filled atmosphere.

Building interior is in disrepair.
Silverware was full of water spots and needed to be wiped off before using.
Most importantly though, the food was not very good at all.
One good thing is that our server was very nice and attentive.
The Cedar Falls Applebee's is the same distance from my home so that is where I'll go from now on because it is far superior in every aspect except for the the servers, which as I said, were the only good thing about the Waterloo establishment.
Sorry for the harsh review! But we were not impressed at all.

Our server was awesome! She checked on us often made sure we always had drinks and didn’t need anything! She is the best waitress we’ve had at Applebee’s!

Traveling thru town stop in for dinner. The wings were great. Steak and potato was cold. Manager told a staff member to get back to his station or get the hell out of here. I heard him use in appropriate language a few times toward staff. Glad I won’t be back here.

Service was good,but the food is horrible and they don't even offer baked potatoes all you get now is garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable they should offer a salad along with your steak too,we will definitely not be going their again for 50 bucks I could've gone to Texas roadhouse and got a hell of alot better,won't be seeing us in the neighborhood anymore.

Applebee's in Waterloo was not good at all, my husband and I ordered baby back ribs they were tough and the chips and artichokes dip was bland, my husband had pasta with chicken which tasted bland also. They need new cooks

Everything was Great and the waitress who I had a bad expireince with before was much better today.WE had her again today she's improved from 2weeks ago

The food isn't the issue but if you order online, make sure you check your bag before you leave. I have ordered twice via the app and both times my items were wrong. Not wrong in the way that they missed an addon or something to take off, I got 2 completely different dishes from what I ordered.
