The server was extremely friendly. That's the positive. I travel to many Tearooms. This was a major disappointment. It had good ratings so I looked forward to trying it. The ambiance was missing. It was more like a British fish and chip restaurant. The variety of scones were great but they were extremely dense. The tea sandwiches were prepared a head of time and it was obvious because the bread was on the hard side. They were also somewhat dry and the filling was sparse. The desserts were excellent. Next door is their gift shop and it was very British and classy. I enjoyed that part very much. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. It just didn't feel like a Tearoom.

Absolutely LOVE A Taste of Britain! I have dined in, taken out, and had them cater my bridal shower. Everytime they have been absolutely amazing! The tea selection is unmatched and the food is delightful. You also get a great portion of food for the price and the location is beautiful. I would definitely recommend it!

This was our first visit here and we will certainly return. A friend bought me a gift card knowing that I am a tea drinker. After looking at the website they advertised having a “proper” British tea with a variety of sandwiches, scones, and desserts. We didn’t order that but we tried nearly some version of everything on the menu. I ordered the egg salad croissant and my husband ordered the chicken salad croissant. Both were chock full and were excellent. They clearly use quality ingredients in everything they make. I also had a buttermilk scone with lemon curd which was really good. Finally we ordered the pastry sampler for dessert. I loved the key lime pastry. My husband enjoyed the berry parfait and a chocolate dipped shortbread. As if the lunch wasn’t enough they have a great gift shop full of most things on the restaurant menu and then some. I was happy to leave there with left overs from lunch and the items I bought from the shop. We will certainly return when we are in the area.

I took my daughter there for her birthday. You have to make reservations and enter a credit card to reserve. It was a fun experience. I loved that almost everyone dressed up for a tea party, I even saw a lady wearing a tiara! The teas were excellent. Food was ok. Nobody at my table liked the chocolate truffle ball. I appreciated the server for adding a candle on one of the dessert for her to blow out. $50/person, not including tips.

Excellent overall experience. The atmosphere is lovely, staff friendly, food was filling and delicious. The tip to come hungry is on point, especially if you're getting more than tea & scones. Definitely recommend the Afternoon Tea. Everything seemed quite authentic, down to the astounding amount of appropriate dishes and servingwear. Great variety of scones and teas. We are already planning to come back to try additional entrees

We had the high tea for 32$ each. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. My daughter is vegetarian and they readily accommodated her with a 2-sandwich variety. I had all 4 sandwiches offered - cheese and chutney, turkey chicken salad and egg salad; nice assortment. The tea, scones and assorted mini-desserts are also part of the high tea. There is a reason you need reservations here, food is consistently good.
