Beautiful place but hands down, by far, the absolute worst service ever. Bartender was not the friendliest I've come across by any means and was outside half the time chatting it up with her friend. I'm not sure why I left her a tip at all but I suppose I'd at least give $4 to a panhandler. Food wasn't great. Oh and the service was horrible, did I mention that...? Would not recommend this place, ever.

Horrible bartender. He had no idea about the daily special and didn't know which beers were "craft." He had clearly messed up tapping a keg, because several patrons said that their beer tasted funny, but he never apologized or offered to pour us something different. He disappeared for 10 minutes at a time and never asked how my date and I were doing. Finally, we got separate checks, even though we were clearly together. Awful experience for ordering just 2 beers!

My husband and I went here for lunch on Saturday 8/7. There were 3 patrons in the restaurant. Three (I quickly found out why). We sat down at the bar to have a drink and after about three minutes in the place we discovered that the music was really a blaring radio station and the radio station music was head banging noise. 2 minutes of horrible music and 15 minutes of horrible commercials. I asked the bartender if she could change the station or turn it down, I was getting a headache from sitting there. She looked at me like I had two heads and said, "The next song would be better." Really? The next song was a obnoxious commercial. I was then told that if I wanted to hear different music there was a jute box in the back. Oh, that gave me the warm and fuzzies. I asked her for our check and the "tude" I got from this chick was ridiculous. She quickly picked up our menus (we never ordered) and threw them back in the drawer. I even got an eye roll. Priceless. We went next door to Teresa's and had a great lunch.

McGillicuddy is now closed. The location reopened as 118 North as a beautiful music venue, playing live music Wed through Sun. Remodeled now as a larger space with a decent sized stage in the back. Great local/regional bands on the calendar. Caught the Jeff Washington Band there Sunday and show was excellent. Sounds quality was superb. I'm thrilled that we finally have a live music venue in Wayne, and it's a great one!

Hope the owner reads this. Drove 25 minutes & arrived at 11:55 a.m. on a Saturday to use a Groupon (why we drove there). Online said it opened at 11. Waited until 12:05. Place still closed. Went down street & ate at Gr. Amer. Eagle Pub (was good). Came back to car at 1:30 & McGillicuddy's door was open. Went in, not a soul in the place. Shouted, no one came out. Thought about tapping myself a beer (just kidding), left. Called a little later. Spoke to Brian. Asked him what time they opened. He said 11:30. Told him online it said 11. He said 11:30 on Saturdays. I said but we were there at noon. Then he said he had to "pick up a part". He was gruff, offered no apology. I asked to speak to the owner. Said he wasn't there. I asked for a # to call the owner. Said he couldn't give that out. Hung up. Nice.
