The 4th Jug / Papa Jug's Pizza

Really spacious and nice venue, plenty of TV with sports on, some games to play and plenty of seating area for large parties. All ages can come enjoy here. I tried one of the draft IPAs and ordered the sliced prime rib sandwich, it was surprisingly really good. Our party of 6 enjoyed all of their meals, and the waitress was attentive and good with refills etc. My only gripe is the bathrooms, they were horrendous, and I doubt anyone was checking them, that's generally a bad sign of hygiene.

This place is terrible, just completely terrible. Stopped here with TWO HOURS to spare before attending a Wayne State U. athletic event on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered a beer and food for the family. 45 minutes later the server brings the beer over, and tells us it's going to be "a long time" before we get our food and offers us a free dessert. We ask what "a long time" means and her response . . . "I have no idea." We tell her we can't wait because we have tickets for an event, and she immediately brings us the bill for the beer. Two minutes later, she comes over to ask for payment. All of a sudden after not seeing her for almost an hour we see her twice in five minutes. And for the record this place was WELL OVER HALF EMPTY. Do not go here. Do not ever go here. This place is a toilet.

Our experiences here have been hit and miss. Our last visit was not a great experience. Orders were messed up, one order completely forgotten, and then burnt fries were brought out with 2 meals. We asked for ranch with appetizers (they were supposed to come with ranch) and it wasn't brought out till the meals were served. The order that was forgotten didn't get delivered until everyone else was pretty much done eating. Just really subpar service compared to previous visits (minus our 1st visit when they opened for the season... that was not a great experience either). We have had great experiences as well, where service and food were outstanding but, it is very inconsistent. For the $ we probably won't be back anytime soon.

Our server Nolan was awesome. And the servers in general usually are. Its the kitchen where things fall apart. It typically takes 40+ minutes to even get appetizers. This particular evening my husband received a hot sandwich while I was given Luke warm to cold pulled pork nachos. The flavor was great, but it was actually cold, like it had been sitting there for a while.
