Osaki Steakhouse & Sushi

When I first arrived there were not any cars in the lot-which made me hesitant. But within 10min of our arrival they had a full house. I ate the super crunchy roll, which is saying a lot for me as I don’t really like fish/seafood. BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS. Fried shrimp and spicy snow crab was way better than I anticipated. My husband ate the sushi deluxe-the chef choice of 9pieces of sushi and a tuna roll. He was not as impressed with his dish-especially after he had a piece of mine. The wait staff were very stoic- no warm smiles or greetings, but not necessarily rude. Just not that southern hospitality feel. But I didn’t come here for southern hospitality. I came here for sushi and it was good.

We were lucky to find this wonderful restaurant in what we thought was the middle of no were. We had the sushi, and it was great. I love good Ahi tuna and theirs was over the top on that day. The rolls were very good also. So, if you find yourselves passing by Weatherford OK. stop in and be surprised. Check Please.

Always order take out. There’s always something missing in our order. When I call to ask for it they deny it is missing . Why charge us for extra sushi or rice and not give it in the order? They give us 2 little cups of soy sauce for 4 adult meals and 1 kids meal and it seems like we have to beg even for that . The food is great but the service sux and they are very rude.

Well, as you can see below, I had a positive review of this place. We loved eating here. Tonight however, we got there at 7pm. We were seated within a couple of minutes and order taken pretty quick. They were pretty busy for a Friday night which is understandable. But by 8:30, after watching everyone who came in after us get their food and even pay and leave and we had yet to get our food, we got up and walked out. We won’t be back. We’ve lived close by for about 2 years now and have been meaning to try it. We finally did and it did not disappoint. Teriyaki chicken, steak and shrimp were all great as well as their fried rice. I had some sushi and it was delicious. Our waitress was nice, attentive and we had a great overall experience. We will definitely be back!
