Curry Heaven

Went for a BYO here last night and the service was absolutely fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food itself was delicious. Table ordered a large array of different curries and levels of spice and all were very satisfied with their dishes. I particularly liked the naan. Had a lovely chat with Badal and I can’t believe I’ve never been here before! Will definitely be back soon!

We wanted some desi food so went in there. Customer service was good, environment was quite soothing and veg.dish was good. However, I was quite disheartened and felt cheated with bengali prawn masala which was described as pan fried and what I was served was prawn in creamy runny sauce, it was more like prawn curry. Definitely recommend asking them for picture of the dish before buying if you are a seafood lover.

What a delightful restaurant just walking distance from our hotel! The food was brought out quickly, nice and hot, and made really well. We ordered an assortment of mains and sides and enjoyed them all. Portion sizes are mostly good too, enough to satisfy even the hungriest person - although the kids chicken nuggets dish specifically could do with more than just 4 pieces as our 4 year old really wanted more, however only a small note for improvement. The customer service was really welcoming and outstanding and ultimately the cherry on top. We really enjoyed our visit and absolutely recommend it.

Visited this restaurant today and enjoyed a selection of dishes. Vegan Tarka Dahl, Chicken Tikka and Paneer Tikka along with a few naan breads. The food was excellent and the sauces were beautifully creamy with a rich consistency - Even the rice was fluffy and light. Spices/heat of the dishes were perfect. Prices were very reasonable even when compared to smaller NZ towns. Child friendly with great service. The reviews aren’t lying when they say this place is the best!
