Booked the Marquee for the work Christmas Do. Jess made it stress free and was very helpful. They also had a booklet of package/platter options which was helpful for planning. The staff were all lovely, great service. Had great feedback from everyone who attended.

Went there to celebrate my nephew's birthday.... just perfect for the occasion. Excellent food and amazing service (one of the nicest people ever.. she was pleasant and competent). Then the desert! Wow! Definitely will go back again. As a bonus, the birthday boy's dinner was complimentary.

The private function room was perfect for celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary lunch with family and friends. The staff were very attentive, and the food provided in our set menu was delicious.

They are the epitome of hospitality. Service and food were top notch with very knowledgable and professional staff members who are passionate about what they do and care about the needs of their diners. We had lunch there and have really enjoyed our time there. Thank you so much, Thistle Inn!

Had a great Friday night at the Thistle! Ordered the 2 for 1 October burger special. Outstandingly delicious. Staff were super friendly and accommodating to our picky requests, which were dealt with effortlessly. Highly recommend this awesome historic pub - it's one of our favourites and the food is superb.

Atmosphere, dining room venue amazing. Staff were superb and food fabulous. Follow up checking all was well after main course great. Strongly recommend and my ladies group look to having our Christmas lunch here as well

We saw a recommendation to visit The Thistle Inn for a meal by our hotel (social media post). We visited on a rainy night on 19 September. We were seated by a friendly waitress in the warm and cosy dining room. We took advantage of the 2 for 1 burger deal - the very tasty chuck and brisket burger. We had a great meal for a great price in this lovely heritage venue. A must do in Wellington.

My first time here at this absolute gem of a place. It's warm and inviting, casual yet sophisticated. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. Portion sizes are generous and everything we ate was cooked and presented perfectly. This is a truly special place, I highly recommend.
