Poneke Mojo Cafe

I am a regular and have never been disappointed by the food and coffee. Lovely staff are always happy and efficient. A Gem of an early morning coffee and breakfast spot. Eggs poneke and the smashed avo are a favourite. Smoothies are a win while the coffee is fantastic. I highly recommend to those in the area. Thank you for the consistency and wonderful service

Wanted to have the White bait restaurant for dinner but selections were too pricey and expensive. Hence we chance upon this restaurant. It serves more than just Coffee, they serve amazing fine dining quality food. Had the seafood platter for two which was amazing but feel that portion fits 1 only. The other food portion were adequate. 4 pax ordered 2 steak (fantastic btw) , fish, seafood platter, mussels and clam side dish, garlic bread and tiramisu truffles costing up to $151. The seafood served like Mussels & clams were the biggest & freshest we have ever eaten in NZ. Service was prompt and lovely. Friendly crews and beautiful clean toilets too! Highly recommend for all to come try.

Needed breakfast so walked along the water front. Order the eggs Pōneke $14 A Latte with almond milk $6 The server came out with soda water followed by my coffee. The water was fresh and very tasty. The coffee very smooth and in a large bowl. Food the eggs were light and cook eggstremely well. On a sour dogh bun. Hash browns were nice as well. Hollindse was very good. Server nwas good fast and friendly. Cafe clean and tidy. Nice overlooking the Marina.

Beautiful place by the Quay. Sunsets are lovely. Real classy joint. The food is varied and tasty. Vegan salad is beautiful. Oysters, decent wine list, even the fries are fresh, crispy and hot! Boys in the kitchen know what they're doing. Great staff, Alice and Lisa really care, and great Mojo coffee keeps this place up top of my faves list! Drop in for food, a beer or just a quick coffee. Free WiFi too!
