Great pizzas & burgers (& I'm sure the rest of the menu is top notch)

Had a sirloin burger this time. The burger bun was not toasted properly so it was not that edible. The burger was okay but lacked any flavour. For $32 I would have expected something better. Disappointing.

Ahh the pickle jar. A family classic. Brought the youngest here with me and had an absolute blast. Ordered the metre long pizza, was pricy but overall worth it as I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend cheat day! My youngest sipped on a kiddy orange juice and his smile said it all. Great customer service from a helpful young man. Will be back. Cheers team. Kudos to you all.

Hands down the best burger and wings I’ve had in Wellington, and it’s not even close. I have to ask them to hold the lettuce and sauce as the lettuce is shredded and therefore makes the mix a bit watery, which in turn causes the bun to slide all over the place, but today I just asked for cheese and ketchup, and this was the right move. I was able to taste the medium-rare chargrilled flavor to perfection.
Absolutely delicious. It’s a real treat when we come here for dinner. The spicy wings are equally good (I ask for them to be made well done), and I hold the ranch dressing and just get the spicy sauce. Simple is best, and the results pair perfectly with my mildly manicured burger. 🤌🏻

Been going on an off for a few years now but recently this place has become a thoroughly good local.
Solid burger and pizza selection has me wanting to come again.
Also family friendly, heaps of chaos with our small children and catered for well.

This restaurant can do no wrong. perfect design, amazing food, and just an awesome vibe. This place is my go-to when I am having a bad day because it is consistently quality food.

There’s a great selection of food and beverages at this venue, the atmosphere, pretty friendly staff too. There’s a small parking lot next to the Pickle Jar, plus some more free parking located on the street in front.

New Menu with mixed opinions from my group. Sadly the pizzas seem to have taken a turn for the worst in November 2022. Was a 4 star review then a 5 star now back to 4 star. Big thank you to all bar staff and kitchen staff, you guys absolutely make this place what it is. Every Monday for pizzas over the last 100 weeks can't be wrong. Thank you as always PJ and all those who sail in her 😊. Warning: new menu change in Sept 2022 means eggs benedict is no longer on the menu... You've been warned. 😉
