Flamingo Joe's Bar & Eatery

Booked for a team lunch (10 people) using their online booking system, it was so easy and user friendly. Received confirmation right away and they were also happy to accommodate our request to have the table for an extra hour. The menu is great, we have a few dietary requirements and found the menu really adaptable and everyone loved their food. Great drink options, the taptails were delish. Atmosphere is lovely, really nice aesthetic - greenery with neon lights on the waterfront. Great service, can't fault it really. Does get packed on a Friday evening though and can be a tight squeeze.

I met with 2 friends for dinner. We ordered 4 small plates (whipped Brie, fries, popcorn prawn, and sticky chicken). The food was excellent! I booked online for a table at 5, and as I booked, I was told we’d need to be done by 7. I presumed that was because the place needed the table back for another booking. By 7, we were done with our small plates but as the place had lots of free tables, we stayed to chat. What we found was that while the table might not be needed, service to our table stopped. We weren’t asked if we wanted another drink (which we did) or more food (which we probably would have, cause we’re gluttons!) or even refilled our water. Anyway - we’ll return because the food and coconut margaritas are *chefs kiss*

We enjoyed our meal at Flamingo Joe's. There was nothing spectacular about the chicken burger and beef burger we ordered but we thought they were very nice. The coffee was very good too. The staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was good. Overall experience was pretty good. We will definitely come back.
