Lux Afghan Kebab

Will we go back? Probably not. We waited nearly 45 min with no updates. When we followed up, we were told that they've not started on our order because the order slip dropped and no one knew. No one thought to check in on the table that was empty for 45 min. When the food finally arrived, they looked so promising, massive portions! After waiting for over an hour (yes, we waited!), we really wanted it to be good. However, it wasn't very flavourful at all. There were traces of herbs and spices but it tasted "diluted". ☹️ We were so disappointed since we decided to come here due to the great reviews.

Heard and read about this place for a while and finally got around to ordering. Had the mixed kebab, lamb qorma and bread. Generous portion sizes.The meat was silky, melt in your mouth tender and well cooked. Well flavoured as well. There was just something missing in the flavour of the bread though which was a bit of a let down.

Very juicy and tender charcoal bbq chicken, meat and mince was ok but not as good as the chicken. Manti (Afghan dumpling) was good, the kids loved it. Kids also enjoyed the papaw rice, I loved the bread. The Afghan place on Sunshine is slightly better and therefore I give this place 4 stars and not give. It should be 4.5 but google doesn’t allow that.

Had dinner with friends as our first official dinner outing since Victoria lockdown 5.0 restrictions were eased, my wife loves this place. It is very affordable and the dinner serving size is very generous. The quality of the food was even better. Great dine in atmosphere. The staff were wonderful and service was very good. The restaurant also complies with government COVID19 guidelines with QR code too. Worth a visit .

A plater of delicious #Afghan food, enough for family to share. 😋 🇦🇫 Everything was delicious, freshly prepared and generous portion. We had a takeaway and the food was really tasty. I really liked Mouth watering kebabs and two types of rice. It doesn’t get any better than this! Qabili Palaw, Lamb, Chicken, Fries, Salad, all in one plate to enjoy with family🍱 Would you like to surprise your loved one with Delicious Afghan Food? Then Order Lux Afghan Kebab food (takeaway)! Highly recommended.

I bought this juice from there. I didn’t realise it was expired until I finished the whole bottle and start having very bad stomach ache. It was expired on 10/11/2021. Surely they don’t check the expiry dates before selling or they just don’t care . It’s not expired few days back but it expired 19days ago .. how horrible !!!!
