Nando's

My Wife and i love nandos, we arnt super crazy about it but we do love a night tasty chicken. This is the first tike at this venue even though we have been living in the area for almost 8 years! We were placed on a table and requested to order via the app, you can do this via the counter if you like although we thought it would be seemless. So i ordered a ‘All in burger’ with chips and a drink, and the wife got a half chicken and some rice. After 30 minutes we received her rice with my burger. We love to eat togather so we waited another 20 minutes to then still not received our full meal. No drinks, nothings just half of my meal and half of hers. Upon asking we were told that the orders just come grouped togather (as in the kitchen gets a list of things to make and they just make it) they dont make it togather or give it to you together. I don’t understand how and why you would do this. An order comes in, would you not group the order together and give it out together? We kindly asked for a replacement meal and they were happy to as ours went cold although the replacement had a far smaller chicken piece and no red onion.. I’ve given you three stars because we still left with full tummy’s and it was a decent meal. Next time we come, if its better then this time you will get you 4th. Thank you for having us.

One star is not even worth it I am so disappointed with the service we had today. So what happened was we did an order online at 5pm and we gonna go pick up at 6:30pm payment was done and we did receive an email saying that the order has been confirm but when we went to pick up our food at our big surprise the shop was closed since 4:30pm. Now I have to go chase for a refund. What I don't understand is why would you give optional time to pick up your food when the shop is actually close. We used to love Nando's so much but it's not the first time that we been very disappointed with Nando's 🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡

Haven't been here for a couple of years, so decided to try it again. Was pleasantly surprised at the expanded menu, including many vegetarian offerings. Food service was friendly, food was good. Only thing didn't like was that we had to download an app, sign up, etc. in order to place your order (can't just order at counter or have someone come to your table). Took me about ten minutes to sign up, but then my wife and son were looking at Nando's website to see what they might order, and some of the things on the website weren't available at this particular restaurant. Once past the app, signing up, and all, the food was good. I guess the sign up stuff is a one off, so hopefully next time will be a fuller, more pleasurable experience.

Worse Nando's customer service experience so far. Manager single handedly is responsible for this achievement. On Sunday evening ordered some dinner for quests and it was 1 hour wait for the pickup. Got there 5 mins before time and asked the manager for my order. Manager seemed least interested to answer any questions to start with but after awkward silence he responded 10- 15 mins wait. The whole time he was looking away and didn't even look towards me until I showed him my phone that gave me pickup time of 8 pm. No apology, no respect from manager just ruins the whole Nandos experience. Customer does understand when restaurants gets busy (while I was here, the place was half empty), but the staff specially manager needs to understand that there is nothing wrong with a smile and being courteous. When asked again after some wait, he had same attitude but wait time was 15-20 mins now. Got food after 1.5 hours.
