Troubadour

We had so much fun at the Highly Suspect concert! A huge shout out to Presley for keeping an appropriate amount of hydration to alcohol ratio so I could enjoy the entire night. Girl, you rock! I was at the cusp of being a bit too intoxicated when we got there... We've been waiting to see our favorite band long before COVID... You saved my night!

The place rocks for decades now! Corner of Santa Monica and Doheny it's the best venue away from the Sunset strip to see live local bands! Awesome stage, sound system and lighting, they even got great food and well stocked bars with excellent service! Oh and well kept restrooms too, that's very important to everyone! Finding parking is a bit challenging but that's true for all of Hollywood anyhow.

My first visit to the Troubadour to catch Lauren Mayberry’s solo performance (Chrvches vocalist) has made me fond of this venue. The venue is small and the perfect size to catch your favorite artists perform up close and personal. Venue is standing room only on the first floor. Second floor has limited seating. Get there early if you want to secure a nice comfortable seat for the duration of the show. Me and my friends opted for the second floor but stood because we got there late and there were no seats left. In my opinion, the second floor has a better view of the stage to catch the performance without being cramped on the main floor like sardines (especially on sold out performance nights). Our spot was perfect. Good quality sounds regardless of being on the first or second floor. Easy access to the bars on both floors. Will definitely be returning to the Troubader in the future.

Seriously for a musoc venue/dive bar this place does great at both.. 3 bars 4 separate areas.. very interesting setup but it works.. Some seats around the bar in the music venue itself, The balcony has seating and another room with a bar and seating with a view of the venue downstairs.. there's a bar as you enter the building which seams like any other bar until you go walk.onto the venue.. Nothing special, drinks are a bit pricey but strong if you get a mix..
