This place is great. Staff is very helpful, you can sample the gelato before you decide. I got the strawberry sorbet, which tasted like real strawberries, not some fake syrup. They usually off two flavors or sorbet, and the rest is milk-based. Next time I’ll try their espresso, but I already had a quad today.

Place located in a very cool looking garden and decorated very well inside, I’ve tried Roma panini and Latte, but wasn’t happy with my sandwich at all. On the picture of the menu everything was neatly tucked inside that sandwich with all the ingredients on the sandwich but in reality it had couple of fat pcs of mozzarella and sliced ham thrown on the sandwich and the rest of the ingredients in the form of salad on the plate. Latte was great but was expecting a bigger cup since before my order was placed I was told that they have only 1 size and it’s really large. In a reality it was about 8 oz cup. The lady behind the counter was very helpful, friendly and accommodating and was trying to offer variety of their product in the very friendly form where you would not feel obligated to purchase anything. Overall it’s a esthetically great looking place but the quality and transparency of the food could’ve been better. This is my honest review of the place and I’m sorry if the owners of the place would not share my view but only 3 stars today.

Very friendly place . We felt welcomed and menu was explained to us. The manager talked to us about his Colombian roots. My panini was very tasty with olive pesto. Highly recommend. We finished off with ice cream, we were offered a sample before.It was my first visit to this location. We will return one day.

The gelato is really good. My mother won’t go anywhere else. I feel it’s overpriced for what you get. My main gripe is with customer service. I definitely feel a different vibe when I’m approached vis-à-vis white patrons. *Maybe* I’ll get an acknowledgement when I walk in. They get full on greetings. I know a lot of this is unconscious bias, but when I’m consciously spending my money at an establishment, I want equal service.

The guy behind the counter told me they were “closed” because he was “tired” when there was clearly a room full of customers sitting and eating ice cream. The ice cream looked really great, but the management is clearly a bunch of jerks. UPDATE: We walked two blocks down to Rita’s, where the staff was extremely friendly, and got frozen custard instead. They even gave us a free shaved ice because it’s the first day of spring.
