My father picked up dinner there 5/18/18. He returned with the most pathetic looking meatball sub I ever laid eyes upon. The server, Danielle, did not explain why he could not order a foot-long sub, and had to settle for a six-inch. That would have been fine. As the manager, John, would later inform me, it might have had to do with them not having enough. Well, if you're going to make something for a customer, you should make it right. If you're afraid there's not enough, tell the customer so they can readjust their choice. My father pays with a credit card, and comes home with the food. This was beyond excusable. I'm not a picky eater by any means, but when my food looks so bad that I am willing to change back into regular clothes to return it, it's pretty bad. All the cheese was on the outside of the sub, glued to the paper. I used to work at a Subway, and I know that's unacceptable. There was barely any cheese on the sub. As you can see from the pictures, the only cheese was on the outside of the sub and around the rim. The inside of it was more tomato-esque water with some balls of meat rolled into it for good measure.
So, you can imagine why I was inclined to returning it. I collected the receipt and called the store to see whether I needed to bring the card in. Wonder of wonders, I got the very person who made the sub on the phone. Her name was Danielle. I explained my disgust and issue with the food. She informed me I could bring it back. I found out later from the manager, John, that I actually did not have to go in. They could have refunded it without me going ten minutes out of my way. I told Danielle I was coming in with the food, and would be there between five to ten minutes for the refund.
I get there in under ten minutes. There is no sign of a female employee in the place. The only one there is a young boy. I ask for Danielle, and am told she apparently left. She knew I was coming in. I called at 6:25 PM. I was there by 6:32 PM. In under seven minutes, she left. And, from the deer on head lights look from her coworker, Danielle might not have informed her coworker of the situation. So, let me get this straight. You know a customer with an issue is coming in, and instead of waiting to deal with it, you run out the door. She knew I was going for a refund on a credit card because I deliberately told her I wanted it to go back on my father's credit card, and asked her if I needed to bring his credit card into the store. This is a supervisor, mind you, who happens to know her coworker does not have the authority to refund on a credit card. I ended up with a cash refund. I have no issue with the poor kid who got stuck with this and such a crappy supervisor who bailed on him. He actually did the best he could and should be commended. But, Danielle, I'm not that sorry to be posting how horrible of a job you performed in taking care of your customer.
I spoke to the manager, and I was informed that his people took care of me. At least, they took care of me and gave me a refund.... I was not really too thrilled after thinking about it that what went down was being taken care of. I honestly did think of not putting up the pictures I took. I really did. But, then I thought about how Danielle, who is a supervisor, treated me. I thought about how she bailed on a coworker and left him to deal with an issue he had no authority or experience in handling. I thought about how someone knowingly and willingly did everything she could to wiggle out of dealing with me. Danielle did not own her mistake. She shuffled it off to someone who had no control or ability to handle such a situation. That is not what someone who is in an authority position does for a company. So, I'm posting the pictures. I would not recommend eating there. The experience was lackluster, and clearly Danielle did not care enough for her customers to keep them. Publix is right next door. At least, I know their subs will be done to satisfaction and their supervisors will own their mistakes.

I haven't been to Subway in years. Now I know why.
Their subs are just ok. You can get a better sub at Publix.

Come to discover that not every Subway is the same. Some offers images of the day While others don't something new I learned when visiting this place. Always love a good Subway especially with a friendly staff pinpoint accuracy on orders

Update: I stopped in again because I saw three people working behind the counter. The service was great this time. There was a corporate guy there training new employees named Barry and he was awesome. He made sure I was waited on right away and was very professional. I said your the manager right and he was humble and said he was just a Subway rep helping out but he was a really a sharp guy. I think he was there to get this place back on track. Good thing. I will go back now. Update: This was my 2nd trip in 2 weeks with 1 employee there. Waited 25 minutesI while watching other people leave. I needed food. No straws, no lids on the ice tea, soda machine dirty. This one was good now just like the other one in Loxahatchee. I wish someone who knows how to run a business would buy it.

I visit this unique place once a month as I like the ambiance that is unique to this place. The team is extremely friendly and professional. The service is impressively fast. Most important, the food they cook is highly distinguished. I visited many times and I was never disappointed. The expense is fair. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Yikes. The single employee at 11am audibly groaned when i walked in because there was already 2 people there. I work retail i get it. But to audibly groan at my presence? I waited patiently. I order my food, she made it wrong. I asked for one of the new shakes and she immediately turned from me and sighed "really?" She gathered all 2 ingredients and then cleaned the machine, then tried twice to make the smoothie and failed before turning to glare at me before trying again. I tried to be helpful and let her know that she forgot the 2nd ingredient--milk. But she was having none of it. She handed it to me and tried to charge me for it even though it didnt have the milk and it didnt fill half the cup. I asked her to just add the milk and remix but she insisted she had even though i could see the seal on the milk hadnt been broken. Won't be back!

I get my lunch there at least 3 days a week. The girls in there are always friendly, and have smiles on their faces. The work area is always very clean. Nothing bad to say about them. And the blonde working their, is easy on the eyes
