Poke Lab Eatery

Having just returned from Hawai'i, my Poké expectations have been elevated and I was expecting to be let down. Instead, I was beyond surprised at how amazing their food was. The Poké Fire with Salmon and the Pokerrito with Tuna and seaweed salad were both delicious. Absolutely worth it and highly recommended!

Not sure what is up with the couple negative reviews of this place. I’ve been coming here minimum once a week for well over a year and it’s always consistently good. The poke fire bowl is one of the best I’ve ever had. Just an amazing combination of flavors that all go so well together. You can’t get that exact bowl anywhere else. Very unique. The kid behind the counter isn’t spacey as someone else commented. He’s awesome and has always taken great care of me and so has every other employee. Love this place and will stop by every chance I get.

In 2018, this place had good quality seafood and served generous portions. The last few times I've eaten there in 2020 and 21 have been disgraceful and its obvious that Poke Lab has lost the desire to keep up with it's old standard by forgetting to add sauce in the bowls, which are now incredibly dry tasting and by significantly decreasing the amount of fish per bowl. As insult to injury, the credit card machine requires a minimum $5 tip or none at all. No option for customizing tip unless you have cash on hand.

The first few times I’ve had the poke from here have been absolutely delicious. But the last few times the fish has had an extremely fishy after taste. I was hoping it was just a one time thing but went back again and the same thing! If you go here ask to try the fish first see if it’s any good before dropping 15 bucks on a bowl!
