Solorzano’s

We came all the way from Fall River, MA to visit family in Wichita Falls and went to Solorzanos for dinner one night and was completely blown away by the dinner that we all had... I had shrimp scampi and it was delicious! Friends of ours had the rack of lamb and I was able to try it and it was awesome! I'm not sure what other dishes were at the table because it was last fall... I'm on a review spree now... Way out in the middle of nowhere and we were really surprised! This place has great food! Don't hesitate to try it!

Frankly, I don't know where to start. I absolutely hate bashing small/local businesses and try my best to give them the most credit where it's due, but this is the exception. This is EXACTLY the type of restaurant Gordon Ramsay would make a show about. I visited 2 years ago and it was fine, with the best garlic rolls and very fair prices - a decent experience. Today, I took my sister and let's just say it was so bad, she actually cried on the way home (after grabbing food at another place). We paid $40 for 2 meager servings of "shrimp pasta" that included only 3 very tough and over-cooked shrimps, and our plates looked like bland soup with boiled noodles in it. Our bread was dry and burnt. I wish I could say something positive about this experience, maybe that the taste/flavor was good, but I truly cannot. I think the employee knew the food was bad, but I honestly didn't have the heart or the guts to say it to his face; it was just so embarrassing. I just know that this is so far the worst dining experience I've ever had in Wichita Falls, unfortunately, and feel so cheated out of our time and money, given that today was a special occasion. I hope y'all can improve.

Good food only one waitress ( pregnant waitress)knew what she was doing. Ours was not very good she brought all the adults their food but we had to ask her for the 2 year olds food and drinks. I ordered a 12 in pizza so I could take some home ONLY half had toppings on it and one of the toppings was left off. They did discount the ticket but I feel it should have been done right. So far thinking of not going back at least for awhile

I have been to Solorzanos several times and tried a variety of their offerings. I have never been disappointed. The service has always been great and the food perfect. The prices are very good and the portions are more than enough. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice Italian dinner in Wichita Falls.

Great food, but you don't come for the atmosphere. The building is diagonal from a strip club and the other buildings nearby seem to be mostly uninhabited. The building on the outside looks small and uninviting. The inside is very plain with booths and chairs. Very clean, but very empty during our visit. We got appetizers, I had hot buffalo wings, boyfriend had the calamari. Wings were great, very hot, but the calamari was nothing special. We both had the sausage and pepperoni calzones. Great flavor but could have been cooked a little less. Heard they deliver through a local company, that might be your best bet with them.
