Mom Dumpling House

I eat here quite frequently and as you would guess the cuisine is very north east China. The menu is very extensive catering for all tastes including pictures so as to assist with picking suitable dishes. On our visits the large dining area has accommodated us very comfortably and would consider the restaurant child friendly. The meals are always served in a timely manner and never disappoint the palate. The meals are reasonably priced and I would recommend this restaurant if you want to try some traditional northeastern Chinese cuisine.

Lovely fresh food. The dumplings we had were so delicious. The size of meals are also very generous. The service was a little slow, but they were friendly. Also I accidentally left my phone behind and they were very helpful in looking after it for me until I could come back the next day to collect (thank you again!). I look forward to coming back in the future and enjoying more food from their amazing menu.

Good mainland Chinese food with huge variety at decent prices ($12-15 for lunch). Service was quite slow. Steamed dumplings were better and juicier than expected. Braised pork was a little sweet and heavy, and the spicy pork stir fry was overloaded with onions. Generally good standard across their menu given the last few times I've visited.

Reasonably good dumplings from a well established dumpling house SOR. Massive menu to chose from - it might be more of a dinner option as there was just soo much to consider. Food was tasty, fresh, service was ok (typical of dumpling house - you're not there for anything fancy). The dumplings were good... the mini buns had great filling but the skin was a little thicker than I'd like.

I ordered a vegetarian dish for take away from this restaurant. I got chicken and beef in and when I told them about it, I was told that we are supposed to close our kitchen and would give them credit for next time. They took all my details and next time when I asked for that credit they told me they didn’t know who I spoke to and they couldn’t give me any credit. Worst experience
