Fuel Wilmette

Rode our bikes here on a beautiful day and sat outside. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, especially in the suburbs! The French toast was perfection and the service couldn’t have been better. Anna-Marie was our server and she was so on top of it. She made awesome recommendations and you could tell how much pride she had in the quality of the food. Will definitely be back!

An exceptional breakfast with high quality, fresh ingredients, generous portions and a great latte. The staff is warm and attentive without being in your space. After eating, I sat to do some work while drinking the latte and felt comfortable to just BE. Clean and light atmosphere with dedicated local patrons who interact with the staff, including the owner, like Cheers. Wilmette is lucky to have Fuel.

So I’ve passed this place so often. Even get my car done next door. Today I finally went in. So I was greeted by Jasmine, and she could not of been more welcoming and kind. So Fuel - Everything sourced locally and as fresh and flavorful as the title suggests. I went with an omelette that was cooked to perfection, added the Chorizo Potatoes, Avocado and salsa. 10/10 Coffee was really good, topped up with a generous pour! Really nice touch was having the chef ask if I was enjoying my meal! I will for sure be a regular here! Clean operation and they also do dinner three nights a week! Menu chafing all the time. Outside seating in the beautiful fall sunshine! You need to come here!

Fuel is a little gem hidden by the train station in Wilmette. My husband and I have been coming here for breakfast for over a year now and am embarrassed that I have yet to thank this team for the amazing food, hospitality and service by writing a review. Tim is always so friendly we feel like we are at home. There is no better egg sandwich in the city!
