Lefty's Pizza Kitchen

I went to Lefty’s for the first time and thought it was the best pizza ever. Then I went to highland park and thought the same but … the third time was not a charm. I got the wrong order. It was clear that the cook knew his mistake. I got sausage on a spinach order. There was fresh spinach on top to cover the error. When I called to complain they were as accommodating as possible and the next day I went back to pick up a deep dish. They are so very nice there and comped the difference in price. However, there was only cheese on half the pizza. Their pizza was great but they could not get it right the last two times. They are the nicest staff ever but check your order very carefully.

I'm visiting from Minneapolis and was looking for a good local pizza shop and fell in love with this place. George is an absolute card. He brings a new level of fun to a local restaurant. I brought a couple of friends that don't frequent pizza restaurants and they loved it as well. Pan pizza is not typically top on my list but this pan pizza with the caramelized crust is absolutely amazing! My wife isn't typically a pan pizza eater either, but fell in love with this crust. It's all she talked about for a week. Keep up the great work. Anytime I'm in the area I will definitely stop!

I've had Lefty's a bunch of times and it's been excellent every time. The cheese curds are a generous portion and I always get them. The deep dish is one of the best around, with that wonderful caramelized cheese on the edge, great sausage and the sauce is nice. I had a chicken caesar salad which I also enjoyed. I'm looking forward to trying their thin pizza as well which I understand is cooked in a pan and then finished on the oven deck to crisp it up. This place is a can't miss.
