The Peppered Cupcake

I had the absolute best first experience at The Peppered Cupcake! We walked into the storefront and there was a cute cupcake vending machine for us to use to buy and get our cupcakes. I thought the machine was extremely user friendly and my 60 year mother (who sometimes struggles with technology) thought it was so fun and had no issues! The cupcakes were fresh and so freaking good! We got five of the available flavors and they were all delicious! I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in town!

Every one of their cupcakes is delicious. The vending machine is super fun, easy to use, and a great way for the owner to keep the business going during staffing shortages. I find it super easy to use, and very convenient. I recommend grabbing a cupcake and watching the sunset on the river walk a block away. 10/10 must have if you’re in downtown Wilmington.

Oh my goodness!!! These are hands down the BEST cupcakes I've ever had!!! The cookie butter flavor is my favorite by far, but they're all so good! And I got to meet the owner!! She is so sweet!!! The vending machine option is so cool too, my toddler LOVED selecting our cupcakes!!! Next time we're down we'll make it over the store front!! I can't wait!

I LOVE the peppered cupcake and absolutely LOVE the vending machine in the downtown location. It is a perfect solution to a problem plaguing small businesses, and a quick easy way to get that sweet tooth fix. There is a convenient microwave inside the store to achieve the perfect temperature, although on this hot summer day, we preferred the “cooler” temperature. It was easy, and if the machine doesn’t dispense, just fill out a comment card on the counter. The owner is super responsive and an amazing woman. Her business didn’t grow for no reason! My friend travelled for 3 hours to see me and get these cupcakes specifically. 100% will get these dispensed again!! Oh, and my toddler could order her own cupcake using the picture and touch display. She could even reach the payment reader to pay by herself!

The cupcake was amazing. I had the peach cobbler and it really was the best cupcake I have ever had! The cupcake was so moist and the icing was delicious! The peach cobbler purée I put on top was top tier. It really was the icing on the cake literally lol! She was so nice too I really loved her hospitality!

I was person who didn’t like cupcake that much because they were always super sweet and over creamery. However this cupcake just blew my stereotypes. I just bought two cupcakes but I really regret that I didn’t get more. Amazingly good! Price was bit high but totally worth it. Server was nice and friendly. Def coming back when I go back to Wilmington.
