Long Island Eatery

After dropping some friends off at the airport we decided to stop in and have breakfast, we were looking forward to eating here because the menu was had everything we were familiar with in a Deli growing up on Eastern L.I. . We ordered breakfast. 1. s.e.c. and 1 hungry man breakfast. The first issue was the sandwich came with 1 egg we're use to 2 eggs and scrambled unless otherwise ordered. No worries, coffee was good, the hungry man was the real issue literally 5 small pieces of home fries (wasn't worth putting them on the flat top) 1 slice of bacon , 1 slice of ham, we asked for scrambled eggs and we got breakfast in a omelet style. Not authentic at all, more like ( ny style ) not a real thing. Maybe someone forgot their L.I. roots in the back 🤔We may come back because it's a nice breakfast spot, we won't expect the breakfast we miss growing up on L.I. not a complaint an observation.

Dropped in for a sandwich and a side. Tried their ‘Sicilian’ based on a newspaper review they had posted. Also with a cup of their potato salad. The sandwich had a delicious taste but as usual the amount of meat was kind of small. The potato salad was okay, just potatoes and a white sauce, no other vegetables.
