This is the best place to get a steak in North Carolina. Be prepared to tailgate in the parking lot for an hour or so, but it is well worth the wait. The salad bar is always fresh clean and packed with everything you could want. The Texas toast served on the side of the meal is the best bread I have ever eaten. The meat itself is very good and cooked exactly how rare should be. All in all I wish I could give this place 6 stars because it really is a hidden gem of NC that has me coming back multiple times a year.

First time coming here. Wow is all I have to say. Have heard great things about this place decided to finally dine here. This small gem is definitely worth the visit. Steak was hands down the best Ribeye Ive ever had. Salad bar was so fresh. Huge delicious baked potato. Amazing fast and friendly service. I didnt have to wait to be seated but if you do please wait it would be worth every minute. Happy full customer here. Thank you BMI for your hospitality and delicious food. Will be visiting again.

Very interesting experience that lived up to its reputation. We arrived just before 6 on a Sunday night and were told it would be a 45-60 minute wait, so they took my name and car make and color and we went out into the parking lot to tailgate with the other patrons. About 45 minutes later the host yelled my name out of the front door and we went in and were told what table we were at. There is no menu--the grill master just comes over with a slab of meat and a knife and you tell him how much you want and whether you want onions or not. You then help yourself to the salad bar (wheel) that is being freshened throughout the meal. The steaks arrive with a baked potato and grilled bread. Ours were done perfectly and the onions really added to the flavor. All in all great food in an extremely non-pretentious atmosphere. Definitely a great experience.

Excellent service… When an establishment does something well…. They focus on that one thing and they are successful at it!! Our steaks were perfect… you get what you pay for!! We will definitely return!! Thank you for “saving” Hubby’s birthday dinner!! We had always wanted to try you.. but had been concerned about how busy you are… we walked in.. ordered, ate and were out of there in about twenty minutes!! A simple dining experience that turned out to be exactly what we wanted!!

The Steak was amazing, 5 stars but then again that was the only thing on the menu, Salad Bar was clean and fully stocked, lots of options for toppings. You get a baked potato with your Steak. My Potato was a little burnt on the bottom. I gave it 3 stars because there is no other options and you have no idea what the cost is until you pay. $37.00 for 8oz steak. well worth the money but every thing else was mediocre. Staff was nice. Steak is cooked in front of you. Nice place, cute decor.

We had a large group, (12 people) and knew that was asking a lot for this place. We tailgated for two hours and loved every minute of it. They accommodated our group and we all sat together for a great “meat and potatoes” style dinner. We plan to make this an annual gathering for our group and can’t wait to return. Tonight exceeded our expectations. Thanks for a great night. Cost? What cost. We didn’t care. It was the experience that matters most to us.

Free advertising… may be the best steak in NC. Celebrated a late Father’s Day for Sam @ Beefmasters in Wilson. What a unique experience… bring your cooler of adult beverages (this is accepted and encouraged) because the place is small and you will wait for your table outside in the parking lot. No menus either— the only choices are what to drink and what size rib eye you want (no other cuts offered). Belly up to the salad bar with homemade dressings. If you love non-chain eateries this place is worth the $$ and drive. A testosterone heaven.
