The Twisted Apron

One of the greatest restaurants in Windsor. It's a busy place but the food and service make up for it. You will see fellow customers snapping pictures of their food. The presentation is as great as the taste. Lisa was our server today very polite and prompt. I had Korean tacos and my spouse had the chicken and waffles. Just terrific. Sadly, no room for twisted aprons' spectacular desserts.

The food is freaking amazing, I love how they come out with specials every single day! It gives you a chance to try something new. But what’s even better is the menu as well! What a fantastic treasure restaurant we have here in Windsor this place it a must try had a classic Breakfast (eggs, bacon, homemade hash browns, and toast w/ strawberry jam) fresh fruits. Fruit was delicious cold and fresh like summer in a cup and, the food was delicious. The stuff were also kind and welcoming.Fantastic job Twisted apron keep it going! 10/10 *Side note they have Tofu for people who don't eat meat.

Brunch spot with really creative dishes. The food tasted great and was very unique. One person at our party was vegan and really liked the crispy tofu. I had the breakfast grilled cheese which was creamy and delicious, I'm not sure I would called it a grilled cheese but it was great. Home fries are crispy. We all liked the atmosphere it was comfortable and fairly modern

My friend and I went for brunch. We arrived separately so I had to wait until she got there. They followed Covid protocols, we had to wear mask and they checked vaccination passports and ID once you are seated. There was also a QR code reader where you could have scanned yourself. We went at 12:15pm on a Saturday so it was really busy. The waitress took our drink order but she brought coffee instead of tea for my friend. She didn't want to complain so she kept the coffee. The waitress came back a couple of minutes later to take our order but we didn't get a chance to look at the menu as yet. We told her to give us a minute. Fifteen minutes later she still hadn't returned. I had to go ask someone to take our order. I've visited a lot of breakfast places in Windsor and friends kept raving about the food here. My friend and I had the classic breakfast and I will say it was just ok for me. The bacon was too salty. The mimosa had wayyy too much alcohol. It wasn't balanced. I didn't give a lower star because I understand it was a busy time for them. I will try them during a less busy time. I saw another guest eating the chicken waffles so I will go back to try it.
