Food quality is excellent. We ordered the bbq platter, takeout. Good amount of food for price. Hummus (smooth and creamy) and garlic sauce (perfectly tangy) is a must try! Among the best. Meat was tender and juicy. We upgraded to lentil rice - best we ever had. Nice hint of lemon. Slow grilled vegetables were cooked to perfection. Great smokey flavour. The only critique is that the fatoush salad was waaay too salty. Everything else was quite delicious. Highly recommend this place. Windsor classic. (I wish I took better images before I dove in!) Update: ordered bbq dinner for 2 & grape leaves. It was very good. Not too salty this time!! Delicious. Recommend.

The food quality at El Mayor is always exceptional. The prices a bit higher than a takeout Lebanese joint, even so I think they deliver great value. The only disappointment I can relate is that they make the best French Fries in Windsor but during the pandemic it was only possible to get them via take out...and we all know what packing and delivery does to french fries...🥀

I was very disappointed after having my meal from this place. It seems that it was not freshly cooked. Also they added extra garlic so it’s full of garlic smell. I ordered two dishes and could not eat either of them. I don’t like throwing food but had no choice. Sheer waste of money and time. Wish to have a negative rating.

Best Lebanese food in the city, in my opinion. Prices are a bit higher but the quality and the portion sizes are excellent. Their garlic sauce is the best. Lots of vegetarian options. If they ever make a mistake, they correct it and usually add on something to your order to make up for it. Friendly staff.

Best Lebanese food in Windsor! Everything was fresh and in large quantities. Must try the Humus and Rice and then you'll know that this place has Quality food! Only one downfall about this restaurant when dining in. In the winter time there is no good seating due to when the door opens and closes. FREEZING gust of wind. I normally post photos but I didn't have time.. the food was too good and gone fast !

My family came here on a visit to Windsor from London and El Mayor did not disappoint. The food is incredible (fresh, incredible portions, fantastic service as well) I had the bbq platter and I cannot get over how tasty it was, my wife had the falafel pita/sandwich and that was also incredible. We definitely cannot wait to go back!
