Mongo's Grill

Just finished some late lunch at Mongo’s Grill and I have to say: WOW! Amazing ingredients, top notch customer service from our server Danae and management team member Danie, all resulting in a delicious and positive experience. I have been going to this location for years and I’m happy to say I will continue to choose Mongo’s for years to come! P.S. Thank you for the kind words Danie. I will not forget this experience!

I ordered Mongos on skip the dishes and when it was sent to my house the order was completely wrong. This had happened 3 times prior to me - so I was familiar with the process to go in skip and get a refund for the botched order. The staff at the restaurant failed to put the noodles I selected for the order into the bowl (minus 2-3 random udon noodles that I didn’t ask for that I found in the stir fry). This resulted in them sending a nasty bowl of soggy vegetables saturated in a sauce that was leaking all over the bag. When I contacted skip, I was refunded for the stir fry bowl but lucky me still got to pay the taxes, the delivery, and the courier tip in something I didn’t even eat. I paid $9 for inedible food that went into the garbage. Not one to make complaints but this is highly unacceptable… unhappy customer still had to pay for something that couldn’t even be eaten. Highly advise you don’t order from Mongos on skip the dishes as they really can’t seem to get it right.

Ordered food and literally took an hour longer than expected. They coordinated terribly with skip the dishes and made the driver sit there outside for 30 minutes. Waste of everyone's time. Update: Food was terrible. normally we love mongos, so we got 3 stir-frys. One had no sauce at all, and one had 2 giant hairs in it and was also gross. They clearly rushed and it's an absolute shame.

Ate at the Regent location Sunday May 22, 2022, around 4:30-5:00pm and within less than an hour of leaving there my stomach started to burn and by 8pm after fighting the urge to vomit, I threw up everything I ate there. I have a shellfish allergy and told them and they stated they cleaned the grill but I did not witness it. After i threw up I called to let them know but have not heard back from the main manager there. Be careful eating there people.
