Original Joe's

Great service and very clean restaurant. Had the chance to try multiple meals from the location all were great except the Rim soup, they fillings were great with lots of noodles but I found the noodles were under cooked, the broth was very bland. If not for the chilli sauce the soup would of been warm water with chicken and shrimp.

I have previously had decent food here but the service is always lacking. Last time I tried to eat here my party waited at the host booth for 10 minutes while we watched the serving staff chatting by the bar. We even tried waving at them to get their attention. We eventually left. We waited so long to be seated we figured the service would leave much to be desired.

Initial Visit We went for poutine week. We did not enjoy the poutine. The server seemed down to earth. He asked for our opinion of the poutine. When we told the server, it felt he avoided us after. I don't know how the quality of the rest of their food is. I feel like if we had the flavor of one of the other locations we might have liked it more. This combination just didn't work for any of us in the party that night.

I had a good time at Original Joe's, although it was far too dark and cold in there. Aside from that, the food was pretty good, if on the expensive side. We had a large party, but the tables are not movable so we ended up being spread out. Their fish and chips is decent, while the salt and pepper ribs are really good. The main dishes took an annoyingly long time to come out though, to the point where we had to ask where it was. I would go back, but only if I was not in a rush and wasn't in a large group. It is very dim and gloomy in there so if you have poor eyesight you might struggle with the menu.
