Five Guys

Always a great meal at Five Guys. This time though, they gave me completely green tomato slices. I asked for ripe tomato but was told these were perfectly fine and that all their tomatoes looked like that. I was offered a replacement burger, but this seemed unnecessary. As I began to eat, an employee quietly brought me some ripe tomato slices, so...all good.

Had a small (single) burger with mustard mayo fried onions lettuce and tomato of course the fries are awesome and the root beer was cold maybe the best what I call traveling burger as in in and out quick what I really like is it is made to order and fresh and hot .Not a cheap meal at over 21 dollars total tax in but tastey and filling .

02/19/2022 Cashier had a lot of problems understanding and taking our order (to go) . Of course, we took it home to a hungry family and found that everyone had toppings that were not ordered--and which my kids hate and are complaining incessantly about how much they hate it. In fact, no one ordered mushrooms or pickles or mayo so I don't understand why all 5 burgers had these items. Unhappy customer.

I ordered a hamburger and little fries and a bottle of water. The hamburger was a homestyle pair of patties on a sesame bun, roughly the size of a baseball/softball, wrapped in foil. The patties were beefy, but not very flavourful. I had ordered it with grilled onions and mushrooms in addition to the usual tomato and lettuce, which were present, and mayo and A1 sauce (I would have preferred HP sauce, a much tastier steak sauce), which were not. It was therefore a dry offering. It was busy at the order desk, so I didn't complain and ask for a rebuild. I slipped one of the patties out so that I could fit it into my mouth, and ate it in the very simple red-and-white dining room. The counters and tables were clean but the floors were dirty. The fries were a very large serving for "little", and I ate about 1/3. All in all, an acceptable meal except for the omissions. I'd far prefer for the order to be made right to start, than have to go back, especially considering the cost. The cost was very high for this simple single meal. I would have had a much more flavourful meal for 3 more people if I had used 2 two-can-dine coupons at another burger place, I'm thinking of A&W in particular. Will I go back? Meh. Maybe, if there was a great coupon, and if I went at a low-pressure hour were the order had a better chance of being filled accurately.

Was a bit sloppy (I had everything on my burger), overall it was clean, definitely had to try their cajan spiced fries; they were salty but great addition to the burger. Only thing I can complain about is wait times but the peanuts make up for that 😅 Definitely would visit again! Wish they still had the brandon location but 🤷‍♂️ oh well
