The North Star Drive-in

What a great burger! Plate licking good! We had a deluxe cheeseburger and a Weber. The deluxe cheeseburger reminded us of a more tasty and better quality Teen Burger. The Weber was a revelation. The peanut butter and jam were so much fun! The sriracha was a bit lost, but the bacon on both the burgers was great quality. Fries were decent but not a show stopper like the burgers. Burgers were not huge compared to others in the city. If I was hungry I would probably order 2. Can't wait to go back and try other burgers and the homemade veggie burger.

Fries taste sweet and of potatoes. Fat boy was well made with nice chili. Only complaint is that the fries, while well browned were a little soft/floppy for my tastes (I know some prefer them this way). From ordering to ready, fresh cooked food was about 10 minutes. Well worth a stop, I will return when in the area.

I haven't eaten food from The North Star in over 10 years! I'm house sitting in the neighborhood and before I go back home I knew I had to order from here. Ordered through Skip. My order came fast, portions were huge and it tasted phenomenal!!!!! I ordered The Weber Combo with a poutine and mozza sticks on the side. Sooooo good. It'll be worth the 30 minute drive when I order again.
