Santa Lucia Pizza Winnipeg

We just ordered the Montenegro pizza from the pembina location. The prosciutto was grey and sliced so thick that it was actually chewy. We tried to pick it off and continue eating, only to discover that the dough was raw in the middle. We also ordered a ham and pineapple that was undercooked. The delivery driver was very pleasant and friendly but not wearing a mask, which I didn't appreciate. This is not the first time we've been disappointed with the pizza from this location, but it will be the last.

Pizza is very good. We tried the chicken upon recommendation. When we opened the pickup order at home the chicken seemed very overdone. Contacted the restaurant and HQ and neither replied. Thought it was only fair to ask the restaurant IF this is their standard. Seemingly don't care, so you can decide based on the photo if you want to order chicken in the photo , because that is what our order looked like.

I've usually enjoyed Santa Lucia, but the fried chicken is pretty bad. It said "seasoned in our renowned breading recipe" on their website, but there was no breading. The weird coating on the outer layer has this sour taste, although the chicken on the inside was alright (not great). It looked like some of the spices have been burned. The drumsticks are shockingly tiny, they could be in a basket of a pound of wings. They also put the fries in a styrofoam container with no additional layers, which caused it to melt when met with hot fries and grease. Not acceptable when you're charging $40 for 15 pc of chicken and a side of fries. KFC is better than this.
