Pony Corral Restaurant & Bar

Decent service for a large group, had to wait in the parking lot because we were slightly early for our booking there was only slight discrepancies for the orders which were resolved shortly, the food was very different depending on each of the main dishes. The cold cuts were generic, the burgers were standard but lacked any depth in flavour, the vegetables are a step up from Smitty's sad and soggy ones, all the soups were very standard and the fries and drinks were good. Overall setting is great but food is overpriced for the quality.

Great restaurant, specially in summertime that you could enjoy the sunshine outside. They have an amazing patio. The staff are nice, our server was a little slow; it took her longer to come n take order or fill up our glasses. The food tho was really delicious and cooked to perfection their chicken cordon blue n chicken parmesan were amazing n strongly recommend!

Recommended for lunch and supper, haven't tried their breakfast yet. Lively place, usually busy, no reservations, but if there is a lineup they move through it fairly fast. Good service, good food, large portions. Had one small incident where I accidentally got lemon wedges rather than fries as definitely asked. Server (seemed newish) first wanted to charge $5 to get fries. Quick check with manager fixed that. Will definitely go back. Pic of filet of sole on large plate.

You know what it was a cool setting. However I would have really enjoyed sitting under the Tiki Hut. We were too small a group. For the time we spent there we saw one Tiki hut that was never occupied. So we really could have sat there. But food was fresh. Patio was really cool. Drinks cold and tasty. Staff was on point. We had a family gathering after a baptism. We were on the second floor, we were a fairly large (about 30) party but there was an even bigger Birthday party on the other side of the room. I felt sorry for the waitress as there was only one for our table. She told us another staff person had fallen I'll and she was working our table alone. It took a while for orders to be taken and delivered. Husband had steak sandwich which he throughly enjoyed. I had the grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, lots of cheese and bacon. The unfortunate part was that the food came out at different times. The waitress did the best she could under the circumstances. We would go back. Hopefully it is not so cold.

Was at Pony Corral for Sunday Lunch. Our experience was not good at all. The staff was dressed unprofessional for a restaurant (TANK TOPS). Waited for 15 minutes to get our order taken. We should have left than. Than when we did order, we had the pony burger, which gives you a teaspoon of chili, mustard, diced onions all together. Hardly anything for topping. The burger was a frozen patty from freezer. The French fries were McCain's shoe string. PRESTENTATION was awful. ! Taste was Kmart Cafeteria special. Not Good! Meal was not worth $16.00. The drink Mimosa was $12.00 , it did not taste good. Our meal was 60.00 in total and we waited for an hour for it. When we told the waitress it was not good , she apologized while she took our money. Definitely my husband and I will not be going back. I gave them a star to write the post.
