The best sandwiches, hands down!!!! Such a wide variety of food and every single one is delicious. The taco salad, the butter chicken, everything’s good! Great prices as well! The daily deals are great and the staff are so friendly and efficient when working a busy lunch rush. The owner & the staff all know you & remember your order and are always so great. I hope Cafe Asante is always around!

Cafe Asante is nice although a little expensive for what you get. I went there in the afternoon November 16, 2021, and had their Chicken Tikka wrap. It was good. I was not blown away or anything. I would say it was average. It cost me $8.85 plus taxes, so the total was $9.91. The owner, Ram throws in a small pasta or potato salad with the wrap. I would say overall the wrap together with the small potato salad should be about $6.50 . $9.91 is a bit high. Just my opinion.

This place is on Sale for $99.000. We (three partners) started a conversation in 2019 with the owner (Ram) to buy this business. We gave him a $10,000 cheque (Proof will be provided if require) based on verbal communication with him. He told us that he will introduce us to the staff and start providing training to one of our partners, he never started the training and he said first we need to get a transfer lease on our name. We started the procedure for that as well ( whoever is buying a business can check with the leasing office for proof) and provided everyone's personal information to the owner. Long story short, this is a personal business so we had a problem getting a bank loan which he was aware of, so came up with a couple of options, he never got back to me via email or text and he said that $10,000 was a deposit and he is not going to return to us. However, we never signed any paperwork, not the agreement how come that turned out the deposit. At last, he said he spent money on a lawyer for the agreement, etc...so I said both parties will bear the expenses. we provide our expenses bills and he provides bills of his expenses. Once we receive all the bills he can reduce the amount from our $10,000 and return the remaining amount. Never heard anything back from him. Then I offered him that will bear all of his expenses so send all of his bills to settle down the account. He was agreed verbally and never came back to us nor replied to our text and email. He was selling this business to us for $250,000. Not trustworthy person as looks very friendly and innocent. There is a couple of other things to mention here as well. Whoever is buying this business during this pandemic I wanted to make that person aware so no one can lose their money. I decided to put this review for awareness and my lawyer is aware of it. Please feel free to ask any questions or for proof if you decided to buy this business.

Amazing staff, great food, always nice to come for a tasty breakfast or late lunch. Pastries always fresh and delicious. Coffee is the best!!!!!! I love the back corner of the restaurant, nice and quiet. Thank you very much! Cafe Assante feels to me like a very nice place to visit, have a tasty meal, and rest before going back to work.
