Roasted Cauliflower Soup - 5/5
- Creamy and great flavor, food start to the meal
Salmon with veggies - 4/5
The salmon by itself was alright but the tomato puree was a nice addition to the dish. The sauce really tied everything together. The carrots were also really nice and sweet.
Pesto bacon and corn pizza - 3.5/5
Toppings were alright, dough was flat and a bit fluffy. Pesto was good, but overall, this was nothing special.
Steak salad - 5/5
Vinagraitte dressing. Steak was cooked perfectly (medium), and the asparagus added a nice roasted flavor to the salad.
Sticky toffee pudding (forgot to take a picture) - 5/5
Delicious.
The ambience was nice in the restaurant, string lights turned on across the ceiling. The staff was very pleasant and quick to serve us. Great service.

Across the street from the Fort Garry Hotel, seven minute walk from the forks. Had the BBQ Chicken Club with fries, paired with little brown jug 1919 - 5/5. The chicken was juicy and flavourful. Bacon was crispy and they nailed the bread; the right amount of grill to them. Fries were delicious, the dill was a nice touch. Sat outside on the patio today, great vibe with excellent service.

I’m just going to start by saying the capital burger is one of my top fav burgers in Winnipeg for sure! I decided to recommend this venue for some drinks and bites before an event with co workers, it was a hit! Everyone enjoyed their meals! (Pizza, wings, crabcakes, etc) This time around I tried the pulled pork & slaw! With the truffle fries! Everything was great as usual. The staff is friendly, service is good. The decor is so cute! This place should definitely be added to your burger bucket list!

Held a special event at Capital and it could not have gone better. The menu they came up with was amazing, the service was professional and pleasant. All around great experience! Regual dinner visits are awesome too!

Very nice little place. Not a very big restaurant but all the staff were super friendly and genuine. The atmosphere was very inviting and the meal we chose was very tasty. Would go back for sure.

By far one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg. Our favourite server, Trevor, always takes great care of us! The crab cakes are unparalleled, and the drinks are reasonably priced and yummy! 1000% recommend

What a great find. We were confined to the Fort Gary hotel for a week. We were able to call in our order and by the time I walked over the order was ready for me. Food was beyond expectations. Winnipeg enjoy this wonderful eatery.

Having just driven 3 days from Ottawa we were so pleased to discover this restaurant gem for dinner. We have not had a class dinner, in a class place with this class of service in a long time (even in Ottawa). Chef Martin has created a interesting menu with a twist on classics. My wife had the steak frites and I the penne pasta. Both were excellent.
