Papa Nachos

Suggested to us by the Hampton next door... my high hopes faded after I walked through the door. I would rather have Mexican decor than an overload of signs about Taco Tues and $2 Tequila shots, hung from the ceiling and plastered all over the wall. The menu was pretty standard and the portions seemed reasonable, but I must have just picked two items smothered in the same queso that made it taste exactly the same. My tongue stabbed through the masa, searching for flavor, but came up short. Included are before and after photos.

We went to dinner yesterday. Got there at 6. Ordered 2 strawberry margaritas. About 20 minutes later, another couple sat down across from us. Had their drinks in less than 5 minutes. Also got their food in about 15 minutes. The manager came by and asked to refill our chips. We asked him about our drinks. He came back and said our server was getting them. After waiting some more we asked our server about our drinks. He said he was working on it. At 6:42 we still had not gotten them or our food. The couple across from us was finished with their meal. I got up and asked for the manager. He came over and tried to say it was just busy. I pointed out the tables across from us (more than 1!) had gotten their drinks immediately. He said it was a different server. He apologized and said he would speak to our server. It took us over 45 minutes to get our drinks and food. The manager never came back or offered to adjust our bill for our long wait. Needless to say - no tip. First time I had done that in decades! The food was very good, and others did not have the wait we did. However the manager did say the table behind us was complaining also - same server. This was our first time there. Disappointed with the manager's handling of the situation. It would have been nice to take off the cost of at least one drink. We spent $57.

If you have a taste for Mexican food stop at Don Tequila Mexicam Grill, I never been at this location I was out an about and I had a taste for something different. I hit google map so here I am! The food was excellent, the waitress (Sandra) was awesome, the establishment was clean! If I could eat more I would but I can't! I would recommend Don Tequila if your in the area! I had the lunch carnitas 👍🏾👍🏾 my daughter had the lunch quesadillas 👍🏾👍🏾

I rate this location 5 out of 5 perfect stars! I've never eaten at this location before and I was highly impressed by my experience. For starters, this place is extremely clean, neat and tidy. The staff here makes sure that as soon as customers are done with eating their meals, that the tables are quickly cleaned for that area. I decided to dine in, since I've never eaten here before. I didn't have a heavy appetite so I decided to get the chicken taco salad, one of my all time favorite dishes. I also ordered a soft drink. While I was waiting for my entrée, my waitress brought me a small basket of tortilla chips with some freshly made salsa. It took less than 10 minutes for me to receive my entrée. My taco salad was filled to the top of diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, Mexican shredded cheese, moist shredded chicken and refried beans. I absolutely enjoyed all of my food. I will return again, thanks.
