Panera Bread

So I ordered breakfast through the Panera app for delivery. When the driver got here (they deliver through Door Dash), he did not have the 2 smoothies that went with my order. When questioned, the driver stated they did not "hand" him any drinks, only the bag. I know this is not right, because I usually pick up my own orders in the morning, and they have the "to go" orders setting by the door and you just grab and go. So I called the Panera store. Hannah (sorry if I am spelling it wrong!) answered the phone, super friendly and very understanding. After I explained what happened, she said she was actually the catering coordinator and was heading over to main campus (which is a couple miles from where I am located) and she would bring me my smoothies. She was supper kind from the very start of the phone call, all the way through when she delivered my drinks. Very helpful, and pleasant! She did not have to bring me my order, she could have very well made any other decision (cancel my order, make me wait for another door dasher, etc.) but she did not, she went ABOVE and BEYOND her job duties, and her customer service skills are impeccable. THANK YOU HANNAH!!!!! <3

Lately, this place is disappointing! Dirty, slow, often homeless are sleeping with their heads on the tables receiving free food... The cleaning of the tables, floor, restrooms and all around, is questionable! I refuse to even wonder how is the kitchen... I decided to give up on coming to this place!

I had the steak and arugula sandwich for lunch today. It was wonderful! What a great healthy sandwich. I would love to know what they do to their onions. They were sweet like they had been marinated in dressing or something. Yummy! Very fresh too! It was my first time eating at this location. I haven't eaten at Panera in a couple of years.

The lower rating is for the wait and bit of confusion. Ordered a quiche (already made) and a yogurt with fruit cup to go. It took 15 minutes for me to get the yogurt. It had been forgotten in the order. I had also been told to go to the hot food pickup area to wait on my order. Luckily a cook there asked me what I was waiting on and got the front to make my item. Food quality was good. Lost 2 stars for the time and confusion.
