Jimmy The Greek Coliseum

I had Shrimp & Grits and it was very tasty! I was surprised when the waitress said “ these are not your normal S&G … do you eat pork? “ I said yes and she placed my order. The salty-ness of the ham and bacon 🥓 flavored the grits pretty well. I liked the texture of the grits after a few bites. The shrimps were a great size and were cooked to perfection. Overall the dish was delicious and I would order again but i’d ask for less salt if possible. Good experience with the service, comfortable and home town feeling.

The Jimmy the Greek Experience (Call In - Pick-Up Edition). On this day I wanted a greek salad. Jimmy the Greek was not far, so I called in and placed an order for their Greek Plater that comes with Gyro and chicken souvlaki on a bed of rice with a Greek salad and a choice of a side. I ordered a salad instead of rice and asked for a double salad. The individual I spoke with was pleasant, and I did not feel rushed while placing my order, and they provided a 10 to 15-minute pick-up time. Once I arrived, my food was ready, but I guess I walked into something because I heard the individuals at the counter talking about "How they were not going to be checking people's boxes." After paying, I checked my food before leaving. Staff had already let the cat out of the bag by saying what they were not going to do. I glanced, but once home and ready to eat, I noticed I had NO FETA CHEESE on my greek salad! How is this a greek salad without feta?? They seasoned the chicken so well, but the Gyro meat was on the thin side but still tasty. The salad was just a salad to me. Not greek without feta cheese. The tzatziki sauce was good, not too runny or too thick. The pita bread was nice and warm. Overall this would have been a bomb plate if I had feta cheese on my salad! So would I return Jimmy the Greek? I would return because they have a large selection of food items. If in a large party, everyone can eat from their menu. Nevertheless, next time I order a greek salad, I will be asking if feta comes on it. Although the customer service was good on the telephone, the same energy is necessary on the floor. This establishment is not that big, and ears are not that far apart to talk about customers, anything personal, or anything disparaging.

3-21-22 11:20-11:50 I sat on the left side of the establishment I ordered my food and drink at the same time as I usually do everything seemed to be a normal routine in jimmy the creeks but I observed from the time I sat down I wasn’t greeted by server . She walked up and only asked what was I drinking not really a big deal but strike one. Strike 2 she greeted the guest behind me as if I was already profiled on her mind but to me everything was still good the final straw was not even getting my drink refilled until I made eye contact with her while my empty plates sat in front of me. Even though my service was terrible I still left 7 dollars on a 15 dollar tab I just wish to be treated fairly I serve as well but treat all my guest with the same polite and pleasant attitude

The reviews seem to be not there great. My husband and I love Gyros and they had amazing gyros with a side Greek salad. The Greek dressing was tasty. The Tzatziki was on point with the flavor. My little one wanted chicken tenders and these as well were better than most other restaurants. I would have enjoyed these myself.

Jimmy the Greek! If you can, I suggest going in person for your dine-in or to-go order, the phones get very busy sometimes and I think 'I might as well drive down there'. Highly recommend the cheeseburger club (my favorite), but can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu. Service is quick and polite, (once at the store), go!
