We’ve been going here for years and I t seems to change owners often. Although I’ve defended this place in the past, our latest experience puts their food below my already forgiving standards. Mushy spring rolls, old dry fried rice had only onions, shrimp lo mien had only a few small shrimp, sesame chicken from the frozen aisle is better, finally the boneless spareribs were more than half fat with very little meat. I consider this a $37 lesson to, next time, shell out a few more dollars and go to a better place like Szechuan Palace or New Sichuan.

Been coming to Kowloon for as long as I can remember. The food is decent and The service used to be good. The boy at the front counter has no people skills whatsoever. When I came in I got no welcome just a death stare from the kid. I got no thank you either for my business when I left.

This place holds a special place in my heart, and has absolutely RUINED me in the best way. After having the General Tso’s chicken here, (over a decade ago) it set my expectations for the dish sky high. I have been chasing that dragon ever since I finished college and left. I finally moved back, and everything is just as amazing as I remember, including the General Tso’s that I loved so much. My favorite Chinese restaurant in the country, hands down.

We were looking for somewhere quick to eat. Since we were traveling, we wanted to dine in. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken meal and the beef with broccoli meal. The food was well prepared and plentiful. I didn't like the egg roll, but my husband enjoyed them both. Drinks were bottled or canned.
Even though we were dining in, our food was served in take-out containers. The biggest problem was the temperature of the restaurant. My husband had to walk outside on a warm day in order to cool off. Gosh, it was hot!
The reason I am giving it four stars instead of three is that I think this is a local take-out restaurant that happens to let you sit and eat if necessary. The food was plentiful, enough for a couple of meals. It was affordable. It was pretty good food for take-out Chinese food.
If I lived in Winston-Salem, I would go there again and get their food to go.

BEST CHINESE IN TOWN!!! I've been eating here for well over a decade, and no other Chinese restaurant in town can compete with the combination of quality, quantity, and price. It is always hot, delicious, and the staff is always super friendly. We are about to move from Ardmore to across town, but this will always be our go-to place, no matter the drive. If you're not eating here, you're missing out. 11 out of 10.

The food here is good. Unfortunately, no matter how many times you ask, how many times you emphasize you would like a dish to be spicy, it does not happen. Food is always mild. We have tried on 3 different occasions to get spice added and just can't make it happen. If you like mild, this is the place for you!

I love Kowloon. They are my go to for Chinese food. They are always friendly, the service is always great, the food is always really good. When I need my favorite comfort food this is my place to go.
I wanted to give them an extra shout out today. I had to set up a lunch for a group of interns and placed orders with Kowloon. Food was hot and ready when I got there. Service was awesome as always. The Interns ABSOLUTELY LOVED everything! Thanks Kowloon!!!!
