Cold Stone Creamery

Went on Mother's Day today. Waited 30 min in line and only 2 families had gotten served!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STAFF!! No greeting the customers...no prioritizing the long line out the door!! 3-4 workers there and they were doing everything but making orders!!! We left after 30 min and we were still 3 families deep!

This was my first visit to Cold Stone and it was great. I tried the Cookie Doughn't You Want Some. It was very rich and super sweet. We ordered the smallest size, the like it, and it felt like a ton of ice cream. Both of us were barely able to finish our portions, but we managed anyways. There were quite a few people in line but the three employees managed to get the line through fairly quickly and efficiently. None of them were particularly friendly but I think that was probably due to all the hustle and bustle of the long line. The parking lot here is pretty full since it's next to a Chipotle. They have a few tables for seating, which happened to be full when we came in. But by the time we were through the line, several tables had freed up. We had a nice first visit here and will definitely be back in the future.

Ordered a smoothie and 2 ice cream bowls at 6:12pm. Go in at 6:25pm and they are sitting in the back watching tiktok. They never even started our order till we went in to get our order. ( we were the only customers ). There were 4 employees inside. They also failed to give us our hot fudge. They were very unsanitary too with their gloves touching money then right back to the icecream. Disgusting.

Cold stone is a place where you can’t rush to order, unless you get the same thing all the time. You have to sample the monthly flavors to be able to figure out what you’re in the mood for. This is not the Cold Stone you necessarily remember. The monthly flavor is cornbread and blackberry jam. Crispy bits of cornbread in a blackberry swirled cream. They can mix it into their usual concoctions, which I would struggle to do beyond the one they’ve created. Said ice cream is mashed with more corn bread, blueberries, and honey. I loved it, but it’s not for everyone. Cold stone is very affordable for one, on a date, or for a family treat. The prices are actually cheaper than if you took the family to a yogurt place. The cake and ice cream creations make birthdays extra special. The staff was very attentive today. Three counter workers, two with “trainee” pins. They sang when I tipped, which is nice because this location got lax a couple of years back. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I’ll be back!
