Wendy's

The food was correct, quickly made and was excellent. Service was good. The restaurant interior was a problem. We ate inside. The air conditioning must be acting up because it was warm and stuffy in the dining area. The floors were so sticky that my flip flops were literally sticking completely to the floor at the drink machine and on the tiled areas. No ice in the drink machine (however they did have some behind the counter) and most drinks were out of order, not to mention that all tables were dirty & the trash was piled high. My assumption would be that they are extremely short staffed currently, because there was someone sweeping and trying to keep up.

Left sitting at the window for 15 minutes before they tell me they don’t have my order and then telling me to park and refused to tell me what I could replace it with and leaving me waiting another 15 till they finally came out with nothing remotely what I ordered… worse place to get food in Winston finally went in after another 10 minutes. Food wasn’t even started. Everyone was standing around yelling at each other over who had to make the food…. Just left without my meal….. terrible.

Drive thru was super slow, took me about 20 minutes to get up to the speaker, only being 3 cars back. The speaker was super quiet and I had to repeat myself multiple times. The worst part was the food. My nuggets were room temperature at best, and my Dave's double was grainy and soggy. Only gave 2 stars because they actually got my order right. One of the worst Wendy's I've been to.

My food looked like it was thrown in the bag and tasted as if it had been sitting a while. The girl at the first window assumed I didn’t need a receipt so when I asked for it at the 2nd window, the other girl said that was at the 1st window then she walked off and probably pretended to ask for it. When she came back she said to pull up and it would be about 30 minutes (knowing I wouldn’t wait that long). Very rude staff with no customer service skills.

Not the finest Wendy's experience I've ever had. Fortunately the food is hot, fresh, and the best part about this location. They still have excellent 🐔 chicken nuggets, 🍔 burgers, 🍟 fries, 🥗 salads, and 🥞🍳 breakfast now. The downfall of this location is the customer service and staff. Orders are constantly wrong, items are missing, and cleanliness is suspect. They do have ♿ handicap accessible parking, restrooms, and seating.

The staff that works the drive thru window have absolutely ZERO personality or an ounce of friendliness. All they say is "go ahead with your order" (no greeting at all) and then "is that it? Is that it? Is that it?" Making you feel like "hurry up". Why not say "ok what else would you like?" Giving the customer the option to order more. 'Is that it?' is so impersonal and rude to someone who has already decided to do business with you. Perhaps they could remind themselves the people ordering are the ones who help them get a freaking paycheck!! I realize some customers are very rude and hard to deal with; unfortunately, that's just part of the field you're in, but when they're definitely not being rude, be KIND!! Geez.
